We had been wandering around VidCon for about three hours, me not being able to focus on anything. All I could think about was how insanely fast everything had been moving. Just a week ago, I woke up behind a gas station in Texas having no idea who I was. Since then I had discovered that I was a famous YouTuber with millions of fans, and had known a spectacular man since I was six years old, who it seemed that I was now in a relationship with and that the two of us lived in California. I then did everything I could to go back to him, and just as all of my hope seemed to have been lost from me, one of my fans had found me in an Airport and by the grace of God was already headed to Ananheim, the exact place Link was going to be in a matter of hours. She also happened to have a spare ticket, and brought me along. Now here I was, wandering through the place that Charles Lincoln Neal was. I couldn't believe that he was just within two miles away from me at this moment. He hardly even seemed real.

We had been here for three hours, just burning time, but now the meet and greet was scheduled to be in five minutes. Once we noticed the time, Angela grabbed my wrist and we sprinted toward the place that the meet and greet was scheduled to take place. We were two minutes early. My heart pounded out of my chest as I waited for the angel to appear.

     No.

     No way.

     This couldn't be happening.

     Tears stung at my eyes.

     He was real.

He was even more beautiful in person, although I could see the hurt in his eyes as he put on a fake smile for the crowd of fans that embraced his perfect figure. I stood frozen in my tracks, just staring in awe at the stunning reality that was Link Neal. I knew he was smaller than me, but it really hit me when I saw him there. I was 6'7", and he was 6'0". My, he was adorable. I saw our loving fans, hugging him and giving him gifts and apologizing to him for my loss and thanking him for everything he had done.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" Angela said softly, tears in her eyes and a little smile on her face. Oh yeah, I thought. I was frightened. I didn't know what he would do, and I didn't know what I would do. I still couldn't believe this was really happening. It felt like a dream. I began to approach him, slowly. Afraid that if I walked too fast, I would wake up behind the gas station again to find this was all a dream. But it wasn't. It was too good to be a dream. Too vivid. I could smell the palm trees and the various foods people were eating around me. I smelt a mixture of different peoples colognes, deodorants, and perfumes. I wondered if any of the ones I smelled were Link's. I could feel the heat and the nervous and excited atmosphere of fans meeting their idols. It was loud all around me, sounds of people screaming and crying in joy. The sounds of laughter and excited babble, of cameras clicking. But I ignored all of it. The only things that existed at that moment were Link and I. I was getting closer, sweat plastering my jeans and shirt to my skin. I had taken a shower before arriving and lathered myself in deodorant, along with buying a new pair of clothes. I wanted to be ready. This moment would change my life forever.

And then his beautiful blue eyes looked up, and Link saw me.
