Damnit...
That was the only word coursing through Matthew's head as Alfred drove them both to the party. He really didn't see why he had to go, it wasn't a life threatening choice. Why had he let himself go? The boys had arrived relatively early and they decided to stay in the car until a few more people cane. They got out in the next couple of minutes, two cars pulling up, one carrying a pair of brothers with deadpan expressions on their faces and a giddy taller boy, taller than Matthew himself. The other carried another three people, a skinny guy with black hair, a pretty girl with long brow hair, and a loud boy bounding after them, a grin on his pale face. The blonds walked up to the door behind the two groups, a large smile on Alfred's face and an apprehensive look on Matt's. "Al, tell me why you dragged me out here again." He sighed, shifting uncomfortably once inside.
"You need to get out more, bro! Come on, it'll be fun!" He replied, automatically beelining to the backyard, Matt close behind, as the older was gripping his wrist as he did so.
It had just gotten dark and the back yard was lit up with faux torches and Christmas lights, a beer pong table set up in the center of the yard, solo cups already placed in careful triangles, sure to become messier over time. "Yeah, fun..." He murmured, running a hand though his hair nervously before walking back inside
He took a cup and filled it up with beer, tasting it a bit before making a face at the bitter taste. Ugh, how do people drink this? He thought setting it down on the table next to him as he sat in the living room, even more people starting to filter in. He saw that obnoxious albino waltz in again, leering at his friends to loosen up a bit, much like Alfred had been doing only 5 minutes prior.
Reluctantly taking another sip of the beer, he glanced around at the others around him, some having fun, some looking as uncomfortable as he did. There was a small Asian boy sitting beside him and reading a... Comic? Nope, as soon as he glanced inside the small book he averted his eyes, feeling slightly scared that the slight, unassuming figure beside him was reading what looked like gay porn? Okay... He shifted his eyes to look at the pissed looking brunette across the room, staring down at his phone.
He drank a bit more, adjusting to the taste. Before he knew it the cup was empty and he stood up to get more, not realizing the obvious consequences of drinking at the time. An hour passed, then two, and the party was still going strong. But unfortunately, Matthew was now slouching in a chair, half empty beer in hand and flush of intoxication obvious on his pale cheeks.
The albino had been watching the nervous Canadian all night, seeing him slowly slip away as he drank. He hadn't even drank zhat much, vhat a lightveight... He thought, still watching him from the kitchen as he drank. His friends had pretty much ditched him by now, one getting into an argument with that cheapskate Swiss and the other giggling with that short kid from before as they watched the couples at the party. Not having anything better to do, he walked over to the hammered blond, crouching down in front of him and snapping his fingers to get his attention.
"Had too much to drink zhere, did ve?" He said, a small smirk on his face as he looked him over.
