"Mmaybe..." he slurred, a dopey smile growing on his face as the German crouched down before him. This was a relatively rare event for Matthew, being noticed, and it felt amazing! Unfortunately there was absolutely no way he was going to remember this in the morning.

Scheiße, zhis guy is vasted! the albino thought as he looked up at Matthew before him. "Just how many drinks did you have?" he asked, an almost concerned look on his face.

Matthew shrugged, drunkenly laughing a bit as he talked. "Does it matter? I mean, I know I'm drunk." He said, leaning forward to look at him, the smell of alcohol ever present on his breath.

"Point taken. I'm Gilbert, und you are?" He asked, standing up and sitting next to him on the couch, his legs beginning to burn from squatting. Gilbert eyed him, cocking his head slightly as he took in the appearance of the drunk teen beside him. His wavy blond hair had been slightly messed up, like someone had messed with it (alfred no) and didn't think to fix it. His pale face was obviously flushed from drinking and his violet eyes shone in the dim lighting of the room, making them seem a bit more blue at times

"Matthew. But my brother calls me Mattie. I don't know why, it's not like I call him Allie." he rambled, only half aware that he was still talking to Gilbert.

Gilbert laughed his signature loud, obnoxious laugh as he stared over at him, amused by his drunken ramblings. Matthew continued to talk for a small while before he turned to look at him again, cocking his head and smiling again. "So, who are you here with?" he asked, barely remembering the two that he had seen before.

"I vas here vith my 'friends' but zhey ditched me a vhile ago. I don't zhink zhey are even here anymore..." he said, shrugging and trying to brush it off, it seemed like a bit of a touchy subject for the German teen at the time. "Vell, do you have a ride home?" he said, asking with what seemed like actual concern in his voice. He had seen what drunk driving can do, those videos they show at school occasionally are brutal and he didn't particularly want anyone to get hurt tonight.

"I dunno... Al was supposed to take me home, but I think he went somewhere with his friends." he said, shrugging and running a hand through his hair, nearly fixing it from what it was before. "Honestly, I thought I was just going to stay here for tonight..."

Gilbert's eyes widened at the thought of it, mouth falling open slightly in shock. "Nein! Don't do zhat! I know zhe guy who lives here, und, trust me, he vill do all kinds of shit to you! Do you vant me to take you home?" he asked.

Matt's face flushed a bit more, not from drinking this time, but from embarrassment. He looked down, glasses nearly sliding off his face as he did so. "I, uh... Don't know how to get to my house from here..."

"Fine, you can crash at my place, even zhat's better zhan here." he said warmly, shrugging. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and checked the time. 1:00 am the screen read, the screen casting a faint glow onto his pale skin. "Ve should probably go, anyways, my house isn't too far and my bruder's bound to be asleep." he said, smiling and pushing himself off the couch. Matthew followed suit, but in his current state, he stumbled and nearly fell, catching himself on Gilbert's shoulder. Gil hadn't realized that this guy was going to be taller than him...

"I'm good!" he said as he straightened up and walked sloppily out to the car. Gilbert opened the door for him and the tall boy sat down in the front, leaning his head back on the seat as Gil got in and started the car.

As the German began to drive, Matt struggled to stay awake without the stimulation of conversation or drinking. His head fell down, resting on the car window as his eyes fell shut, mouth hanging open slightly. Gilbert glanced over for a moment and couldn't help but smile at seeing the Canadian sleeping.

They pulled into the driveway not long after, the car turning off but the glow of headlights still remaining for a bit. Gil reached out to shake Matt's shoulder, whispering, "Hey sleepy-head, ve're here." He groggily lifted his head and looked around, before remembering that he was at a different house.

They quietly opened the door, looking around and being relieved when they saw neither Ludwig or Fritz. They walked in a couple more steps, Gilbert supporting Matt a bit as they did, when they saw a light flicker on at the end of the hall and a tall, blond step out.

Scheiße.
