Chapter 10

 Author's note:

 I am so sorry that is has been so long since I updated. OK here we go.

 Megan's p.o.v.:

 I am having such a fun time at the fair with my friends and the guys. We just finished our cotton candy and played a few games. Now we are splitting up into pairs. I, of course got paired with Louis, not that I'm complaining. The first thing we go on is the merry go round. It was so fun to just joke and mess around. Next we went on all the fast rides and by the end it was almost dark. We were walking back to the parking lot when Louis stopped dead in his tracks. I was walking right behind him so I almost ran into him. He turned around and faced me. "I know we have only known each other for about a day but you are so easy to be around and talk to. I was wondering if you would like to do something like this again? You know, as a date?" What he said took me by surprise. He looked worried that I would say know so I gave him a big hug and said in his ear, "I would love to."

 Next thing I knew I was being spun around in air. I started laughing as he put me down. He straightened out his shirt and put a serious face on. "I mean um, cool. Cool. I will see you then." He said leaning against a building.

 "So, trying to act cool now are we Tomlinson?" I said with humor in my voice.

 "Please Blankenship, I am cool. They don't call me the swag masta from Doncasta for nothing."

 "And yet your mom and almost everyone else call you Boo Bear." I replied with a raised eyebrow. He looked at me with mock hurt.

  "Tushay." He said wiggling his eyebrows. I started laughing but was cut short when I tripped on something. I closed my eyes and waited for the impact of the ground. Instead I felt two strong arms catch me mid fall. I opened my eyes and looked up meeting Louis's blue eyes with my own. As he pulled me up he asked "Are you OK?" I was still staring in his eyes as I answered.

  "Um yeah. I'm fine. I tripped on something and..." I trailed off. His arms were still around me. As if time were going in slow motion he took one hand off my waist and cupped my cheek. Then without warning he leaned in and kissed me. After a moment I kissed him back. When it was over he pulled away and looked at me. He was waiting for my reaction. I was still in too much of a daze to speak so I just smiled and grabbed his hand intertwining our fingers together. He smiled back as we headed to his car. Once I gave him my address we exchanged numbers and he drove me home. I said goodbye and got out. As I got to the porch and was unlocking the front door my phone started making noise. I dug it out of my pocket and looked at the screen. I had a new message.

  Miss you already. ;)

  I looked at the contact name and almost busted out with laughter. I turned around to give Louis a look but he was gone. I shrugged, opened the door and went to my room. Once I finished getting ready I slid under the covers and lay with my arms behind my head. I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss. It was just so...perfect. Yeah that's the word. Absolutely perfect.
