It's been over 24 hours since launch. John is now over 20,000km away from his home planet Earth.

"Space is beautiful... but at the same time so empty and blank." I say to myself. "Johny old boy you should go to bed..." I quietly muttered.

I walk to the bed they set up for me in this spacecraft to find it's a tiny compartment with desk and a bed. It will have to do... I get into the bed, lay down then finally pull the blanket over my body before falling asleep.

"Ughh" I moan, what time is it? forgetting I'm in space. "Oh yeah... I'm in space..." I remind myself. "I'm going to have to start work today, where's the nearest planet from here?" I exclaim.

The way planets are labeled (in this story) are their coordinates relative to the planets Galaxy then the planets name for example
X,Y,Z; NAME

Almost forgetting about Nav the artificial intelligence system that can learn and is also very aware of it's surrounding. Nav is practically an artificial human but thankfully he is programmed with a feature that doesn't make him feel anger therefore not able to feel the need to betray the human race.

"Nav, where is the nearest planet with possible resources to the cure
Hydrolia?" I asked. "The nearest planet is 50, 83826, 1334; Beezer." Nav replied in its fluent English accent. "So how long will it take to get there?"

"Approximately 78 hours or a little over 3 days"

"Could you change the ships flight path to head towards Beezer?"

"Sure thing John." The conversation ended there.

I decide it's time to eat breakfast, let's see what they have stored in the kitchen. As I'm walking the spacecraft shakes a bit, "Nav is everything all right?" I yell fiercely.

"Don't worry Dr. Smitjerald, everything's under control." Nav replies calmly.

Deciding to continue to the kitchen I start thinking about what food they might have. Walking into the kitchen I start craving barbecue chicken, surprisingly as I'm searching through all the cupboards I find barbecue chicken. My mouth instantly starts watering, I'm almost unable to wait to eat the barbecue chicken. I remember I am meant to ration the food, disappointed I only put a quarter of the bag into the microwave.

I walk into the eating room which is specially designed to eliminate all crumbs or bits of your food that happen to float off when you leave the room, the kitchen has a similar feature. I sit down excitingly and ready to eat the barbecue chicken, as I take the first bite the satisfaction is immense. After a while I finish my barbecue chicken I take my plate and leave. I walk to the kitchen to clean my plate, after cleaning my plate I decide to take a nap.
