Chapter One

"Mya! You need to go help Niel NOW" Unnie says desperately and I nod, worried why he would need help. I follow a ajumma to the stage and see Niel. I cant believe my eyes, his hair was everywhere and absolutely ruined. I indicate for him to come over but he shakes his head, meaning he isn't allowed to leave the stage. They were in a live recording for a Variety show, and he was telling me to just run on the set to help him? I sigh and walk to him slowly, before starting to redo his hair. He starts to talk but I lightly hit the side of his head.

"Be quiet" I say, concentrating on styling his hair. I could see his members laughing and teasing him, but I ignored them .

"How did you manage to do this to your hair!!" I complain. He shrugged and didn't reply. His hair was really bad right now, so I tried my best to fix it and it looked nearly normal when I finished. I put my combs and things into the small bag I had brought with me then turned to leave.

"Mya-ah...Gwomawo" He called and I waved to him before leaving.

NIELS POV.

“Did you talk to her?” L.Joe asked me and I look at him.

“You were the ones who did that to my hair!” I complained and they all laughed at me.

“We know you like her, so we helped you get her attention”

“I-I don’t like her” I deny and they just smile and shake their heads.

“Fine, don’t believe me” I says and they don’t seem bothered. We continue the show, Mya staying in the back of my mind.

MYA”S POV

“You did so well today Mya!” My Unnie complimented me as I followed her to her car. She picks me up and drops me at my apartment each day, seeing as I don’t know my way around the city very well. She got me to tell her about what happened with Niel’s hair and she laughed when I told her. She was proud that I had taken her advice and been firm with him. I had known my Unnie for four years but she only started teaching me to be a stylist at the start of this year.
 “Well, you’ll see those boys a lot working with me” She says and turns out of the parking lot, taking me home.

NEXT DAY
“Mya, come on we have to go” Unnie shouts and I run out the door. I get in the car and she drives us to the KBS building. I remember where to go from yesterday and go ahead of my Unnie. Walking into the room I see a large amount of boys crowded in the room. ‘Why is there so many people?’ I think to myself and look around at them, then my Unnie comes in.

“EXO take your seats!” She says and they all sit down. My Unnie points me to start on one and I quickly walk up to a young looking one.

“Hello” He said cheerfully with a smile on his face. I greet him back before starting on his hair. He is very talkative, to me as well as the other boys around him. I finish up fast and start on the one next to him, most of the others already had a stylist helping out or had finished.

“Annyeong I’m Sehun” He said and I smile.

“Annyeong, I am Mya” I respond and start his hair.

“Did you meet Luhan?” He asks and I tilt my head while working.

“Which one is that?” I ask and he points to the one I had just finished on.

“Oh, yes” I say. Sehun continues to talk, almost as much as the Luhan. I say how I think Luhan looks young and Sehun explains that instead of Luhan, he is the youngest of all.

“EXO on stage now” A man says from the door and Sehun and Luhan say goodbye before leaving. I am thankful the room is a bit quieter but I would also miss how fun it was to talk to them. My Unnie see’s my face and smiles.

“Don’t worry, Teen Top are coming in next” She says and I look at her

“Two days in a row?” I ask and she smiles.

“They come here a lot” She explains and I shrug my shoulders. I had never been very good at keeping up with this sort of stuff. Suddenly, Niel is pushed into the room ahead of the other members.

"Yah did you have to-" He start to shout at the others before falling silent seeing my Unnie and I looking at them.

"A-Annyeong" He says, waving to me and I smile and wave back.

"Welcome back" I say, directed at them all but looking at Niel. They take their seats, without Unnie even having to ask them. I head to who ever was closest, Chunji, but he told me Niel wanted me to do his hair. I look around in confusion and Unnie tells me to go and that she needs to do Chunji as he needs extra work anyway. I walk over to Niel and start. He was looking down and hadn't noticed me, thinking it was a different Noona styling his hair. He looks up a small amount and see's me in the mirror. He jumps and I whip the hair straightener away from him.

"If you jump around like that I could burn you!" I exclaim and he apologizes.

"I thought you were doing Chunji's hair and make-up?" He says and I shake my head.

"Unnie said he needed extra work done today" I say and Niel smiles. I come closer to where I was before and started styling his hair again,  a little wary about him moving and me burning him.

"Noona..." He starts to say and I look at him my eyebrows raised.

"I don't think I'm your Noona" I say,

"I'm only 18" I add. He looks at me and his smile gets bigger.

"You have to call me oppa then" He says and I cock my head to the side.

"You want me to?" I say and he nods.

"Arraso" I agree and move onto his make-up.

"Mya-ah..." He starts again, fixing his sentence,

"I was wondering if you could help me with my hair and make-up tonight... I have somewhere to go after this programme and I like the way your style looks..." He struggles to explain himself and I smile.

"Of course, just come in whenever, I'm in here most of the day" I say and he smiles, relieved I didn't tease him for stumbling on his words.

"And why are you so nervous oppa? you were talking fine before" I ask. His eyes go a bit wider but he just shakes his head.

"I'm being normal" He denies and I look at him.

"Sure you are" I say and he try's to argue but ends up just laughing at himself.
