Honestly River didn't want to answer because it had been almost 100 years ago. Last she had seen him was at Manhattan and River didn't feel like getting a pity hug or anything so she decided to just lie.

River's hand instinctively went for her gun whereas The Doctor went to grab his sonic screwdriver.
