Okay, so my band director asked us what music was and why humans have the desire to make music. I believe this applied to all art, so I decided to write about it. Enjoy!
Art is creativity in one of its purest forms
It is the physical form of our emotions
It speak to our souls either with its brushstrokes, melodies, verses, or content
It inspires us
It can shine a light upon others who are desperate to see the sun
It offers a hand when people need it most
It can strike laughter, tears, smiles or just a state of wonder in all of us
And it is truly beautiful.
