Chapter 3

Nari POV

"Yah...Yah...Yah girl qwenchanah? [are you okay?]"

I slowly opened my eyes and saw the boy standing over me, patting me continuously. I knew him! I've seen him before, but where? The boy helped me up to my feet but I still felt dizzy and fell into his chest. I could hear his heart beat which made my cheeks turn a little red. I mean it's not every day you fall into a really cute guys arm. The boy looked at me as if he also knew me but didn't know where from. Finally after a while of staring at each other it clicked.

He was tall and slim but you could see that he worked out by the form of his arms. He had auburn red hair that was spiked to give it that death hawk style look but not quite. His uniform was all wrong. He didn't button his uniform shirt at all, showing a designer black t-shirt underneath. He did have on the jacket but the tie was nowhere to be seen instead he wore a simple sliver chain. The only thing that I could (I guess) approve of was his white original Jordan's. I love sneakers so whenever I see someone wearing a good pair I have to give them create.

"Mark...Mark oppa?....It's me....Lee ChinBae! It's Nari!" I said to him finally standing with balance on my own two feet. The boy just looked at me with confusion. I slowly stared to get worry that I could have been wrong and that it wasn't Mark. I was about to apologize on my mistake and speed away. When the boy said nothing and pulled me into a tight hug. I stumbled into his arms again and was actually surprised.

"Nari! Omo...omo jinjjah[really] is it really you!? I can't believe you're here!" Mark said as he grabbed me tighter. Mark and I grower up together in a way. I met him through my mother. We were actually neighbors but I never left the house except for school. My mother insisted that I try to make friends, so once a week Mother and I would hang out with Mark and his Mother. At first Mark didn't like me, but after a while for some reason he started to treat me like a person. That was when I was 7 year old. He helped when kids would pick on me in school. He would be there when no one else was. Mostly because my parents were both busy in their jobs, so they were never really home. But our friendship didn't last long he ended up moving and I stayed behind. We tried to keep contact between us but after a year we just ended up going separate ways. I didn't say anything for a while I mean Mark looked completely different (in a good type of way). He was attractive, I could feel my blood rushing to my cheeks again so I tried to hide. Mark watch me as I tried to hide my face as he laughed and began to poke my side like he always did.

"I'm attractive aren't I? I know a lot has changed since we last seen each other..... You....you don't look so bad yourself," Mark said as he went from cocky to embarrass in seconds. I looked up to see his face turning red this time and I couldn't help but giggle. I was so happy to see a familiar face, that I couldn't stop myself from throwing my arms around his neck and this time  pulling him into a tight hug.

"Gomawo [Thank you] for being here! If I didn't run into you I don't know what I was going to do?" I whispered into Mark's ear as tears filled my eyes. He said nothing just held me in his arms tightly. Finally I let go and took a step back. He wiped away my tears from my cheeks and smile warmly.

"More like me crashing into you literally, but we can leave that part out of the story," Mark said as he winked and held my face using his thumbs to wipe the last of my tears. Mark picked up his skateboard, throw his arm over my shoulder and began to walk. I just followed I rather go with him all day then me be alone and be nervous one more minute.

"Nari lets go to lunch I going to introduce you to my friends."

"Ani [no informal] aniyo [no formal].....it's okay I don't want to intrude," I said shaking my head no.
