"YAH!!! WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER ME?" he yelled as he ran up to me pointing to his phone. I giggled, he still acts like a child when he's not around other being "Mr. Popular" and trying to be older than everyone else.

"Ani... I was too lazy to pull my phone out of my pocket" I said as I put my hands in my jacket pockets and shrugged my shoulders. He pushed me out of frustration and began to run away. I on the other hand was trying not to fall into the wall. So by the time I was standing again and ready to hit him he was already half way down the hallway, laughing at me and making faces. I started to chase after him just so I could hit him,

"YAH!! Bichoso [are you crazy]?!" I yelled as I sprinted towards him trying to caught him, I've always been good at sports and I always beat most of the boys except Mark. We ended up running into the library but luckily the librarian was out for lunch so there were no teachers or adults, just a couple of students looking for a book or studying.

At one point I lost him and couldn't find him at all. I assumed that he left so I went to leave and look for him down the hall. I got scared when I couldn't find him for a while. Then out of nowhere someone picked me up and began to spin me.

"Are you going to ignore my text again?" the voice said. I knew in that moment that it was Mark and I began to beg him to let me down. He refused until I promise not to ignore his texts again.

"Choa [okay] okay... I promise never to ignore you," I said as he finally put me down. I was super dizzy and it took me a moment to get the room to stop spinning in my head.

Once I got my balance back I punched him in his arm."Why would you leave me like that! I really got scared for a bit!" he didn't say anything and just looked at me as if he was relating me to a memory or something.

"Wae! Why do you keep looking at me like that?" I said, as I pushed him out of the way so I could walk to the vending machine nearby. He didn't say anything just followed me. As I was putting in some money into the machine (the change I manage to find in my bag) he stood right in the way before I was able to push any button. His smile faded away and a look of shame took its place. I tried to get him to look at me but he refused at first. I could see tears begin to fill his eyes, which made me almost freak out. I've never seen Mark cry except once but that was when we were 10.

"gwenchanayo [are you okay?] Mark what's up?" I asked him grabbing his hands. We stood in silences for what felt like forever, then finally.

"Nari I'm sorry... I'm soo sorry," he said, still staring at the floor as his tears rolled down his cheeks and his shoes. He grabbed my hand and squeezed them tightly as he continues to apologize.

"Wae... what for?" I said, totally confused at what just happen. I never like seeing this side of him.

"For leaving you...For turning my back to you when you needed me the most," he said slowly lifting his head but once he saw my eye he couldn't take the grief and he let his head drop back down. I didn't know what to say. This happen all in a split moment and it was out of the blue. What made him come to this point? Once I stop and thought about it, I realized where this came from.

No, no....he can't be leaving.  I couldn't believe the Madam when she told me the worst news of my life. I had to find out from him. He promised me he wouldn't, he told me he would stay by me. I ran out the front door of my house and sprinted to Mark's. Not stopping for a second, I began banging on his door scream out his name. No one came for a while, then finally the doors opened slowly and out stepped Mark's father.
