"Hey! Heather!" Lily shouted.
I walked towards her. Then started to skip. Today was the party and I was so happy that she was coming.
"Hey! Did you get my e-mail? I sent it to you last Friday and you didn't answer."Lily questioned.
"Yeah. I got your message. It's just that I had to study for a Spanish quiz, so I couldn't answer. I had to study."
"Uh-huh." Lily shrugged. "Of course you were studying. Anyway, I was just going to tell you that I would come to your party a little late so I can get my stuff and change. We can still walk together though. Okay?"
"Okay. As long as you can come."
I smiled at her.
She smiled back.
I am so glad that we are best friends. Her family loves me. My family loves her. Our parents are like best friends. I cannot wait to see her later.
