Chapter 5

Why did it have to happen to me?

Lucy's POV

The rest of the day on set was mostly stressed. There were some fun parts, and the girls were really sweet and nice to me. Right now, it's 4 AM and I was free to go home, but they needed me back on set at 8AM.

Since I met Ian, I can't stop thinking about him. At first, when I am with my friends and I want to to cry, I go to the bathroom or somewhere else so they couldn't watch me, and they have no idea something is going on. But Ian does. And second, I always make people leave so I can feel calm again, but when I do it to Ian I actually feel really guilty. Maybe because it was our first day.

Tomorrow I will try to talk to him and tell him to start again and that I wasn't feeling myself, I wasn't feeling good because of certain 'things'. When I finally got home, I took a shower and the first thing I did after that was drop myself in bed and sleep.

4 hours later

I woke up by the sound of my ringing phone. My screen lit up and I saw it was an unknown number. I didn't know if I had to answer or not, but a few seconds after that I decided to take the call.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Ian. Where are you? You needed to be here like, 20 minutes ago!"

"WHAT?! What time is it?!!"

"It's 08:20" Ian said through the phone

"Damn! I fell asleep! Tell Marlene I will be there as soon as I can!"

"Okay, see you later. Bye"

"Hey, by the way, how did you get my number?"

"Oh, Ashley gave me your number because Marlene was calling, and she gave me your number to call you from my phone"

"Oh okay, I got to go now, thanks for waking me up! See you later!" I said and ended the call.

I can't believe I fell asleep. It's the second day of work and I'm already late. Great Lucy, that's the way you keep a job. I brushed my teeth, changed into my clothes and got to work. I got to set where I found Troian. At least I think that's her name.

"Lucy? Where the hell were you?!" She asked a little bot concearned

"I'm so sorry! I fell asleep!"

"Marlene is calling for you, go! Before she gets angry! She's at te brew, that is next to the church"

"Thanks Troian, see you at lunch time"

I'm praying for myself, I hope Marlene won't get mad at me for being late. I don't know her and I have no idea how she's gonna react.

IAN'S POV

I was a little worried about Lucy for what happened yesterday, I don't think this is normal for a girl. I'm on set but Marlene told me we can't film yet because Lucy isn't here. I went to ask Ashley where she was because Ash told me she and Lucy were best friends even before the audition, and she told me it was weird she wasn't here yet and she would call her immediately. Marlene was already trying to reach her, so Ash gave me her number so I could try too. After a few attempts of calling her, she finally answered the phone.

"Hello?" I heard Lucy's tired morning voice

"Hey, it's Ian. Where are you? You needed to be here like, 20 minutes ago!"

"WHAT?! What time is it?!!"

"It's 08:20" Ian said through the phone

"Damn! I fell asleep! Tell Marlene I will be there as soon as I can!"

"Okay, see you later. Bye"

"Hey, by the way, how did you get my number?"

"Oh, Ashley gave me your number because Marlene was calling, and she gave me your number to call you from my phone"

"Oh okay, I got to go now, thanks fpr waking me up! See you later!"

Okay.. That was weird. Later I will try and talk with her about what happened yesterday. A few minutes after the phone call Ashley came to my dressing room to ask if Lucy had already answered, so I told her she fell asleep and she was on her way. She thanked me for checking up on her friend and walked to set. I walked around set to ask if the girls had seen Lucy yet, and Troian told me she was, and that she was talking to Marlene.
