Okay so the last chapter was shit short and I don't know why so I'm gonna try and make this one way longer because that just wasn't fair to you guys.

Luke's P.O.V

I walked out of the tent and that soon caught Michael's and Chase's attention. I wanted to say something to Michael about what he said but I didn't need to be detracted right now and how could I blame him? To be honest, if it came down to it, I would put Ashton over Michael as well. I love Michael, yes I do but Ashton is the love of my life.

However, I couldn't help but feel bad. I mean, here we are on a island playing some fucking sick game and who knows what could've made me sick and it just seemed like Michael didn't care as much as he claim to. Although, yes, I'm glad he didn't wanna leave without the boys but if the tables were turned and he got sick, I would've tried to get him some help some way. But like I said, it just seemed like Mikey didn't care. I couldn't help not liking it. He's been my best friend for years now and it's like Calum is his entire world and I'm not apart of it. Ashton is my everything but Michael still means something to me.

"Oh, hey Luke." Michael said, smiling. I smiled back despite my thoughts.

"Should we start or do you need time to wake up?" Chase asked.

"Oh no. I'm fine, let's just get this done yeah?"

They both nodded as we grabbed things we needed before we started to search on the island. I turned, seeing the boat was on sore and steady enough to leave without super vision. We began to walk on the path with bags on our backs as we made our way inside the forest. In the bags we had food, water, matches, knifes, guns & bullets; leaving everything else behind. Here we go.

We've been walked for at least 10 minutes now. The first place we got to that we saw on the map was some kind of abandon cabin. We looked inside and found Calum's G.E.D ID so that told us that they must have gotten taken on their way to Starbucks to meet Michael and I. Speaking of Michael, he nearly had a nervous break down when he saw Calum's ID. I would have to if it was Ashton's. God, we missed them.

Nevertheless, we didn't find anything else so we just continued walking, our next stop being a small lake it seemed. We walked and walked until Chase stopped us.

"We're here."

"Really? I don't think so, I don't see a lake." I said, seeing Michael nodded his head in agreement.

"That's because that's not a lake on the map." Chase said, looking nervous.

Michael and I looked at each other curious and said, "Then what is it?"

"Quick sand."

As soon as Chase said that I noticed that I was looking down on him which was odd because he was at least 3 inches taller. Holy...

"HELP ME!" He yelled at us. Michael and I immediately dropped our things and went to Chase, grabbed his hand, trying to pull him out.

We pulled and pulled but he was coming up but he wasn't going down either so I guess that's good.

"Fuck! Get me out of here!" He yelled, panicking.

"Look, Quicksand is surprising better to float on then water." Michael stated, smartly.

"So-"

"So, you need to lean back so your upper chest sticks up which will make the sand push you up rather than pulling you down and when that happens, we'll pull you out." I said, interrupting Chase.
