One week later

"You gotta wear this" Maxi held up a red dress that had cuts all over the back. I made a face. "Come on you gotta wear something a little sexy" we kept looking at dresses.

"How about this one" she mad a face this time. "Come on its cute" she through the dress across racks "that shit is for church, I don't even think my damn grandma would wear that" Maxi said causeing one of the workers to look at us. "Your gonna be a little cute, and a lot sexy TONIGHT, you might finally get some good loving"

I rolled my eyes at Maxi

"I don't want no good loving" I said looking at a white and black dress. I held it up facing Maxi. "Go try it on"

I love my friend Maxi she's like the only one that I'll bring shopping because she's 100% honest and she can dress her ass off. We're two totally different people but it works for us.

Like she like straight hair, I like curly hair. My favorite color is pink hers is black, we both love Starbucks but I get a Cotton candy Frapuccino and she gets a green tea iced.

Totally different.

But I love her. She's my rock she's the Bikini to my bottom.

"Your so weird, but Jayden isn't gonna know what to do once he see you in that"

I look at myself then walk out. "How is it" Maxi look up. "Yessss bitch" the whole store look at us. "Your going to sit that boy soul on fire" she said "is it "sexy" enough" I said looking at myself in the mirror.

" I mean, it's you, and that's sexy for you" she said

"Come on, let's buy it" she pushed me into the room and I changed.

I paid for my dress and a shirt that Maxi was gonna buy, but I bought it for her. "I'm hungry" Maxi said,

we was now walking around the mall. "What you have a taste for" I said walking next to her.

"Him" was all she said, I look to where she was looking. "Who,Where" I said

"Roma, right there the one with the red shirt" I look at him

"Maxi that's Chad Willing" I said, she look at me then at Chad. "How you know him" she said "he goes to school with Jayden" Maxi fixed her boobs and turn to me,

"Do I have anything in my teeth" she smiled at me. I laughed "no your good" she put a prices of gum in her mouth "come with me"

We walk over to Chad "hi Chadster" I said calling him by his nickname I gave him. "Sup Rolly Polly" he called me by mines. "Chad this is my bestfriend Maxi" I lightly push her in front of him.

In no time Maxi had Chad eating out of her hands. He walk us back to Maxi Jeep and they talk a little more.

I took a picture of my bags with my dress kinda out of it and post it to IG with the caption "two years in the making" I post it right when Maxi closed her door. "Girl, he's fine"

We drove looking for somewhere to eat. I had a taste for Chinese and Maxi wanted tacos. So like always when we're together we got different things.

"Is this all for tonight" my dad said taken one of my dumplings. "Yea, I got a dress and some shoes" I said

"I'm like, so excited for Roma and Jayden. Like they're goals" Maxi said. This girl is a actress. Some people say she's two faced but she's not, just a really good actor.

"I don't know about goals, me and her mother is what you call goals" my dad said popping his collar

"Y'all my old people goals" Maxi said, he laughed "I'm not old, what old man y'all know can keep they lady worn out for three weeks" he said leaveing out the kitchen

"Okay, ewww" I said. "You won't be saying eww tonight" Maxi said biting into her taco. I look at her. "We're not doing all that, at lest I kinda hope not" I said picking at my food.

"And why the hell not" Maxi said looking at me "y'all been together for two damn years, you need to give him some before he get tried of you" Maxi said making me think

Is he getting tried of waiting?

"What the hell you think Sherlock, if you ain't giving up the booty some other girl is"

I put my head on the table, my self conscious and Maxi is right.

"Maxi, but relationships shouldn't be based on sex" I said thinking I was saying something relevant.

"Yea,well no guy is gonna want to just kiss and lay there forever. Roma I'm telling you as a girl who's been in many relationships, ones where we didn't have sex at all and others where that's what it was about" she stop talking and look at me.

"What I'm saying is...you know just do whatever your comfortable with" she rub my arm. "It's not my place to push you into doing something you don't want to" she look down at her food.

I jump down off the high chair and hugged her,she pick up her head. "What's this for" she said

I look at her and smile. "For being a good friend. You know your really nice,the only one that I would let talk like that to me" I said playing with her hair. "Your the brown to my rice, the shell of my taco, the...the cream to my oreo" I said

"Okay that one was weird get off of me" she laughed

"No but really I do appreciate you Maxi, and ALL your many different characters"

She fake cried "aww your really loving, just like how your confession your love for me, do the same to Jayden penis"

My mouth drop

Maxi eyes almost pop outta her head "YEA,YEA just like that, damn girl you got it"

I done with her.

"I'm done, by Max" I said walking up stairs "come on, you love me to much, let's start your hair. You know how long it takes y'all curly headed girls" she pulled me into my room and was got started.

"Maybe, just maybe you can wear your big girl panties tonight Roma"

My self-conscious got on her keens with her hands in a preying position
