It seemed like the whole day flew by as you slept in bills arms but you finally woke up. Slowly fluttering open your eyes glanced up at bill's wide open one. He was clearly thinking for a moment while he watched you before starting.

" I'm glad your awake for your birthday. You slept the majority of the day away" he smiled softly.

(Bills pov)

I would have wished she stayed asleep , the less light outside the better. I'm sure pine tree won't be roaming around at night... Would he. The thought flew right out as quickly as it came as I felt (f/n) shift in my arms with excitement.

" I did? Well what are we waiting for! Let's go bill!" She jumped up and out of my grasp before I could sit up.

" you have to get ready first my dear. Remember we have dinner plans so it's best you put on that outfit you picked out for a bit. I have a surprise for you later on." Yes, that's right. She wants to spend as much time outside as possible.. I guess that's what I get for keeping her inside of here this long. I have to make my move quickly and seal the deal before pine tree finds a way to break my hold on her.

" oh, right. I can't go out in pajamas ether." She ran right to the bathroom in a flash.

This " room" was more like a small apartment to be honest. I had to build a few more rooms to keep her comfortable. I got her a tv, which I had to make a living room area for. Along with the basic needs of humans. A kitchen which I cooked the majority of what came out.. Though after a while I bought her a cook book . Since then she would cook something new and make me try it. As much as I wanted to throw up the first few times it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would come out. Not to mention the funny sensations I got when I ate her failed attempts at cooking a dish gave me satisfaction. It was fun.

(F/n) was getting ready, washing up brushing her teeth and so on in the bathroom as I sat there thinking to myself about how the day will go. First I have to get the pixie dust and glowing mushrooms.. The mermaid scale can wait. The mushrooms I'll collect durning the small walk I have planned through the forest while the pixie dust I'll have to pull a few strings to get. The mermaid scale will be a tough one.. I'll need to go to the beach for that and get far enough down to actually find it... I need some way of ether , cloaking (f/n) from pine tree without me near her or some way of making her breath underwater for a bit..... Though the pressure of being too far down may affect her in more ways then one... Being mortal and all... So Thats out of the question.

I sat in thought as I waited for her to come out of that blasted bathroom so we can get this over with. Then again... The more time she's in there .. The less risk of pine tree being outside still on the hunt. Yes, that would be great ... If pine tree isn't outside looking for (f/n) then I can get the mermaid scale in no time. But then again.. People will recognize her .. That will run a risk as well. But for now that's not as much of a risk as pine tree actually seeing her. If he does he'd try to take her.

As much as (f/n) thinks she trusts me pine tree has his ways too. Though him trying to take her from me right now would make him look like the villain.. That may be a good idea in this case..

Yes.. Pine tree, the villain.
While I stay as the hero in her mind.
The god that holds her close at night will be the same God that makes her immortal....
