Have you ever looked at the sky before a storm comes?
The sky is dark and gloomy.
If a big storm is coming then sometimes the wind is pretty strong.
You walk outside and feel the gloominess of the rain and storm to come.
You know that it will be bad;
there’s nothing you can do to stop it.
That’s what I feel right now.
I fell gloomy and dark.
Things are being tossed about inside of me.
I can feel a bad storm building up inside of me.
It won’t be pretty.
Things might be broken or damaged.
There’s nothing I can do about it.
While the storm persists, you pray and hope that it will clear up soon.
You know deep down inside of you that when it does clear up, things will get better.
The earth will be green from all the rain.
Things will be fixed.
Buildings will be repaired in time.
Everything will be back to normal within at least a week.
You and everybody else will almost completely forget about the storm with time.
The next day may be bright and beautiful.
Unlike after a rain storm, my storm inside may not get better.
It might let up for a while, but will come back just as strong – maybe stronger.
Depending how it finally ends, things might turn out okay in the end.
Things might repair its self.
I might even forget about it with time.
Things might be back to normal within the week.
Those are big mights, though.
Things may not turn out right.
They may change, but it won’t be for the good.
I’ll always have a scar from all the broken hearts and damage.
Things will never go back to normal.
