After a dull experience yesterday,we were trying to go out to at least the mall.
As I tried to help Aunt Mel with the lunch I heard the doorbell ring. Since I was the nearest one to the door,I went to open it.
As I opened I saw Mark. Then Jackson and Justin. How did they know we stay here? Aunt Mel called out,"Who's there honey?"
I didn't answer so she came to the door and saw them. Zoey came down the stairs too,but well,as she saw who came she went straight back up.
"Do you know them,honey?"Aunt Mel asked.
"Well..they are kind of our friends from back home. We went to the same school."
"Oh!Why don't you come on in?Lucy dear,take them to the living room. I'll bring something to eat."
I didn't even have time to think and took them to the living room. I was lost in my thoughts of how they got here until Mark touched my shoulder. I looked up to him and gave him a smile.
"How do you guys get here?I mean how do you know we stay here?"
"Well,yesterday when we ran after you,you ran into this house. So,we guess you stayed here. It took a lot of courage to come here Lu. Can she at least come down?"
I went up the stairs to call her although I knew she wouldn't wanna come. I thought to myself,"Well,what's the harm in trying."
I went up the stairs and see Zoey in the bed touching her phone. She was,of course,looking at her pictures with Justin.
She's got a heart of stone. But once you melt it,it would never harden like before.
