Mark dragged me down the street and pulled me into a big jewellery shop.
"Mark, what are we gonna do here?" I asked.
"My family own this place and we are here to buy you a token to show you are mine."
"Yours? When was I ever yours?
"You have been for a long time and i hope for forever too," he whispered in my ears.
He picked out several rings and made me choose one. Those were really expensive by the look too.
"Mark, you really don't have to so this."
"No, I want to do it. It's just something to show that we are a couple and a little something to show the boy's that you are mine."
I thought it was childish and a waste of money. But hey! Money didn't matter to them. They got loads of it.
We picked a cute couple rings and we head out towards the sea as so he said.
We got into the car parked in front of the shop. He was rather quiet in the car but the smile in his face hasn't rubbed off. It was nice to see him smile now and then. It makes me feel a little better.
As we reach the sea. He put out the mat and we sat on it watching the sea and the night sky. I rest my head in his shoulders and he put his arm around me.
"I wished for a moment like this every night. You in my arms and a beautiful view in front of me,"said Mark as he pulled me closer.
It really felt good to be held by him and really nice to even hear him speak.
We sat there for almost three hours when Zoey called me and said that she wanted me to pick her up at park.
I laughed to myself thinking how much Justin must have driven her crazy by now.
"Let's go. Zoey's been driven crazy by your friend. She wants me to pick her up," I said to Mark.
"They are still in the park? I thought they would be really wanting to have their time. wrong guess!"
"Get up. Let's go."
"Fine. But after we drop her off you have to come out with me again. I know she'll understand that. Come on! This was supposed to be our first date if it weren't for her." He said as I think of any possibilities.
"Okay. We'll go out again. Now get up and let's go."
As we drive up to the park,Zoey was almost in tears hating all the possible excuses Justin gave to her. Why can't she just forgive him. I mean it's not that they slept together or kiss or anything. She sure is hard to get through.
She urged me to get her home and I told her that I was thinking about going out with Mark that night if she was okay with it.
She must have not even got the time to think as she gave me permission to go,a little like my mom.
I got her home and as i finish letting her go to bed right away,i head out the door and got in the car waitin out front.
We went to movies and roamed around the mall and then he led me to the most expensive restaurant i have seen-'The Park View'.
The restaurant got the perfect view and the perfect atmosphere of romance. We talked and laughed the whole time and he drove me home.
It wasn't like the dates other girls have, but i didn't care.
We'll make our own love story, different from the rest. A new fairytale and a new romance...
