My recovery is going well.

All my bones are fixed and out of plaster.

My sisters funeral was just a week ago so I am not the only one in my family struggling.

It is a real shame I missed it as I didn't really get to say goodbye.

It's not like I expected my dad to do that.

But now just thinking about him makes me feel sick.

I knew he was having some problems at work because he would come home late at night and shout at mum, blame it on her and se was helpless.

We couldn't work out what it was that was making him like this.

He was seeing a councillor.

Maybe he needed to take his anger out in someone and Harriet was the closest to him.

Of cause my brother Will had to be strong for the family because he was always the closest to dad.

But mum and Will dint understand how close I was to Harriet.

I can't wait to get out of this place.

I need my own bed back.

Instead of this white, plain, boring room I want my room at home back.

It has all my stuff.

I can't wait to get out of these awful clothes things aswel.

My mum burst into the room with a look of hope on her face and as she realised that I really was awake she ran to my bedside engulfing me in a massive hug.

This was the start of a new future for me.

This was the start of a new future for my family, well what I have left.
