When You And Blue Collides

#28: Finale

A week after....

Fushimi sits at the hospital bed while reading news. After the destruction of the Slate, Reishi Munakata - former Blue King, was appointed to be the chief justice of the country. The Green Clan, JUNGLE, was disbanded. HOMRA's members owed to assist the Scepter 4, even without the help of Sanctum. The rest of the Clans are nowhere to be found. Fushimi stared at the window and saw a peaceful city. "Watching you rest like that makes me sick", Naoki in Nozomi's guise sat next to the bed. "How's school?", Fushimi turned to her. "I am advancing to third year. The president is retiring so she kept on asking me to run for next year", Nozomi narrated. "Is that so?", Fushimi responded. Nozomi saw him reading the newspaper. "How about you? You havent still signed up for Scepter 4", Nozomi asked. "I'm cut out in playing a hero. I guess I have to live my life", Fushimi replied. "Fushimi-san, after being discharge, where would you want to go?", Nozomi's eyes are sparkling. "Its unlike you to get excited", Fushimi patted her head.

After 3 days, he was discharged and Fushimi stayed at Yokohoma. He called Naoki on the phone.
Fushimi: Airhead, are busy right now?

Naoki: Not as lax as you are, though. Captain said he'll wait for me ro graduate and if I still want to serve Scepter 4, he's welcome me.

Fushimi: uhmm... Then, meet me at the train station today at 4:30 pm.

Fushimi ended the call.

It's already Spring. Naoki wore a blue knee-high dress with butterflies embroidery at the edge. Her hair also falls perfectly on her back. A sling bag hang on her shoulder. She sat at the bench in front od the rails.She checked her phone and it's pass 4:30. Naoki pouted. She raised her head and saw Fushimi. He's wearing black and white striped jacket and black pants. "So you can pull off clothes like that", Naoki averted her stares. "You're starting to have nasty attitude. I wonder where are you getting those vibes", Fushimi commented. Naoki shrugged and returned back her stares. "Where are we going?", she asked. Fushimi started to walk, Naoki just followed him.

Naoki Kauri's POV
Fushimi-san is walking in front of me. At first, I never though of a day that he would call me for a walk so I dressed in the best way I could. It's all done. Once Fushimi-san goes back to Scepter 4, I will no longer see him regularly. Once he decided to make a living out of his brain, there no more reasons to see him. To be honest, I understood what I felt for him. I wanted to be with him. I wanted to stay by his side. I like him...

"Fushimi-san, are you leaving Tokyo?", I opened. "Beats me", he answered. This route... Looks like the route to the headquarters. Is he going register? He told Nozomi that he has his own plans. We entered the headquarters. Fuse-san, Akiyama-san, and Domyouji-san are guarding the gate. I grouped hugged them. "I will miss you", I hugged them tighter. "Fushimi, are you here to sign?", Fuse-san asked. Fushimi-san didnt answer and just enter the headquarters. I followed him. We stopped by the dinning room. "This is where we usually work. This is where your brother, Shigure usually sleeps during rush hours", Fushimi-san opened. I gulped knowing it was me he was talking about. "Just to know it was you after all", Fushimi-san clicked his tongue. He made me wait outside the Captain's office. Is he going to submit after all? After few minutes, he went out. "Did you pass your name back?", I asked. "Nope", he answered and started walking again. We went out of the headquarters. It's already 5:20 pm and nearly dinner. My stomach growled, that was embarassing. "Want to eat?", I shyly asked. He nodded and led the way. This time... It was HOMRA. He's going to be killed in no time. I hesitantly enter with him. AH?!!! NAOKI? YOU ARE DATING THAT UGLY MONKEY?!!!", Yata-san said loudly and it caught the attention of some customers. "Than to go out with a blockhead like you", Fushimi-san sat at the 3rd block table. That was the spot of Kei-san. Izumo-san had a weird smile on his face. Anna came to hug me. Areh~ She's wearing a middle high uniform. I hugged her again and squished her. "Monkey!! You dare show up your face", Yata-san was about to give a punch. "Yata-kun, its time to wash the dishes", Izumo-san instructed. I sat opposite to Fushimi-san. "Did you miss this place?", I tried to change the mood. "If I recall, there was once a girl who was working here. I wonder where she is right now", Fushimi-san made my heart fall for a while. "Why would you ask? Dont tell me you like those kind of girls", I tried to ride the topic. "You can say that", his answer intrigued me. "Then what part if her do you like?", I am starting to get annoyed even the fact that I am that girl ."Let's see. She knows how fix herself. She knows how to follow her superior. She was also upset for the lose of her friends", Fushimi-san is unbelievably honest today. "Did you catch a cold?", I checked on hisfore head but it was normal.

After eating, Fushimi-san said he wanted a few rest at the apartment. I prepared some tea. He lies at the sofa comfortably. "Dont tell me you're staying here", I assured. "I wont. You're quite a strong girl arent you?", he praised again. Whats wrong with this guy? After having a few rest, Fushimi-san asked me to changed into my comfortable clothes. I wore jeans and sweater. We went out again and walked. Wait... This is weird... Why are we going to Ashinaka High this time? Its already 9:30 pm. We entered the campus and felt the peaceful atmosphere. He led the way heading to the rooftop. "Here is where I met Nozomi", he narrated. Of course I knew about that. "She's such a brat", he said out of the blue. "Fushimi-san, you've been blabbering about girls. Do you want to have a girlfriend?", I pouted. "So weird that you, Reiko, and Nozomi are all different", Fushimi-san leaned on the wall. I wenr closer at the fence to watch the city light. I never seen those so beautiful. "You were all different but still the same", Fushimi-san's word caught me. I turned and looked at him. I cant seethe. Reaction in his face since its dark. "Reiko, Nozomi, Naoki, what do you say? I'm so intelligent to figure out all of you, right?", he asked. "Then, let me introduce myself as well", Fushimi-san said while changing his eyeglasses into sun glasses. "Kei-san?", I was shocked that I cant find words. He exchanged his glasses again. He went closer and grabbed my wrist. "This hands are the once that served to me, tried to kill me, cooked for me, watched me while I was sick, and tended me ", Fushimu-san let go and reached his hands beside my eye. "These eyes are the once who witnessed the worst and best of me", he sighed with a smile. "And so with you", I answered back.

"Reiko, Nozomi, or even Naoki, you have to take responsibilities of the things you have done", Fushimi-san passed through me and watched the city lights. "Then what do you want me to do?", I asked. "You spoiled me with your presence so I demand you not to leave my side", Fushimi-san voice was all clear. There's no way I heard it wrong. "If thats your demand", I pouted. Strong arms enveloped me from my back. " I love all of you... Kauri", he whispered. My happiness reached Pluto. I gripped into his hands. "Tsch, I'm not getting any response", he clicked his tongue. "Yes boss, I also love you from the bottom of my heart", I replied. "This makes me wanna throw up", Fushimi-san teased.

A year after...

I graduated at Ashinaka High School as the president and valedictorian. Saruhiko got my papers fixed. He's been with his Mom for the whole year. He occasionally visit Tokyo. We are still going out. I entered a high standard college still here in Tokyo. One day, Saruhiko and I will meet together in one line. Yokohoma is just a train away. I can always visit him and so with him. He took over JUNGLE telecommunication company and he really made a big name. Granted that he's enjoying what he is doing, I wont get in his way. Guess, I also have to do my best to reach his level.
