Benzai and Akiyama entered the King's office. They were startled to see their King carrying a baby. Both lad went out with tons of question circling on their head.
They called the rest of the front liners except Fushimi and Naoki. "Captain's illegitimate child!!!", they all shouted. Awashima passed by. "Lieutenant, are you aware?", Fuse asked. Reishi walked into the dinning room that silenced everyone. He's still carrying the baby. "Can you hold him while I'm away? Her mother left her outside the gate. He's a Strain so the mother might have been scared", Reishi explained. They all sighed in satisfaction. Everyone looked at each other voted for the first one to hold the baby. Akiyama was the first one. Reishi left the headquarters.
The boys circled around and became fond of the baby. Domyouji carried him and threw him in the air. Benzai was the next one, he hummed for him. The baby cried. They all panicked and shot their stares to Awashima. "He's hungry", everyone said in unison. "I dont have any", Awashima twitched her eyes. "Give him to me", Kamo carried the baby and headed at the kitchen to make an improvised cereal. "Right, Kamo once had a family", Awashima smiled then left the boys to assist Reishi.
Fushimi entered his usual work place, the dinning room. He saw the group of boys taking care of a baby. Fushimi wore a frown and decided to work on his room. It was already past dinner and the boys are still busy taking care of the baby. Fushimi passed through them and overheard thay they wanted to take a bath. "I'll hold him first", Fushimi volunteered. They hesitated to give the baby but they still did.
Fushimi sits at the sofa at the living room located near the bathroom. "He's also abandoned by the society", Reishi suddenly appeared at behind Fushimi. He offered his finger and the baby grabbed it. "So what are you going to do? Punish the society for what it did?", Fushimi sarcastically asked. "I'll create a society for him as what I did to you, Fushimi", Reishi withdrawn his fingers. "Are the boys still having a warm bath?", Reishi asked. Fushimi nodded. "Shall I join them?", Reishi entered the bathroom. The once noisy bathroom turned quiet.
The baby started to cry. "He's already hungry", a weak voice bit Fushimi back to reality. He looked behind and saw Naoki in her messy hair and pajama. "Did he wake you up?", Fushimi asked. Naoki took the baby and softly caressed his back. "Fushimi-san, can you please accompany me at the kitchen? Hold him while I prepare his food", Naoki requested. Fushimi became obedient. Reaching the kitchen, Naoki gave back the baby. He's sucking his thumb.
Fushimi Saruhiko POV
Naoki's not wearing the old stupid smiles in her face. She's not frowning or irritated. It was just blank. She started reheating the cereal Kamo-san made. Naoki asked me to sit and let the baby face her while sitting. Naoki scooped the cereal and pointed it towards his mouth. The baby swallowed it and started to giggle. Naoki gave a weak smile. "What a lucky fellow", she said softly. Like me, Naoki was also abandoned in a different way. The baby finished his food and yawned. "Dont tell me he's sleeping in my room", I grabbed her shirt accidentally. Naoki carried the baby and bought him inside her room.
No ones POV
They were all shocked to know that the baby is with Naoki. "You're so heartless, Fushimi-san. Naoki might not be in a good shape", Akiyama lectured. Fushimi clicked his tongue and glared at them. The boys turn around and marched in front of Naoki's room. Benzai knocked. The door opened. They saw Naoki in messy hair and pajama holding the baby. "Naoki, you might transfer your illness to the baby. First, go clean yourself", Akiyama grabbed the baby. "I was actually thinking the same thing but Fushimi-san ordered me to get him", Naoki pulled a smile that gave a peace of mind to the boys.
The next day, the mother of the baby went back. Her conscience was killing her so she decided to work with Scepter 4 to controll the powers of his son. Naoki was also there to say goobye to the baby. The rest of the Scepter 4 also stood in front of the gate. "Her mom came back to get her, right?", Naoki faked a smile and look at Fushimi who was by her side. Fushimi and Naoki was tasked to program traps inside Mihashira tower. As usual, the dinning room is as busy as ever. They sat opposite to each other. "Naoki, go find someone to bother. I'm rushing stuffs here", Fushimi ordered. "Uhm... I guess I'm bothering you. I'll send my work via mail", Naoki gave a fake smile then fixed her things. "What happened to your prentending skill? You cant even fake a smile perfectly", Fushimi mocked. "I have no idea of what you are saying, Fushimi-san. May I ask permission to leave?", Naoki asked. "Why dont you pretend as Shigure Miura once more. He's more honest than the current you", Fushimi suggested. Naoki stood and slammed the table. Perfect timing. The rest of the Scepter are not around. Fushimi closed his laptop and looked at the frustrated girl. "Then, what do you want me to do?", Naoki raised her voice. "Go cry and scream but not to me", Fushimi suggested then left.
Finally, Naoki stopped being an emo.
Reading the lost world makes me cry!!!!
