I'm sure some times in our lives, we look at the girl on the cover of a magazine, and then look back at ourselves. We ask ourselves, "Why can't I be like them?" Whether you think you're too fat, or you think you're ugly, we tend to compare ourselves to others constantly.
I'm sure that at your school, or the school you used to go to, there was the popular kids, you know, who wore Hollister sweats every day and caked on their eyeliner. They're mean to everyone else, and they push people around for being themselves. And that's not what popular people should be. The definition of popular is to be generally liked. And I can assure you that's not what the "popular" people in my school are. But furthermore, what annoys me is when people say popularity isn't real. Because it is. It just isn't what it used to be.
So this school year, embrace your flaws, and just get to know who you are as a person. Show people what popularity really is. (:
Good luck.
