Chapter 12

Riker's P.O.V.

We got everyone here and explained our idea and everyone was all for it. Ratliff, Rydel, Ryland and Ashley went to work on flyer's. Ross, Rocky, Julia and I went over the set list. All the guys thought it was a great idea so they mainly worked Isn't She Lovely and Pretty Brown Eyes, because it is going to be a surprise for Ashley! We worked all day until the rest of the group came back. We then had a full band rehearsal on the bus. We got back around 7:45 and Julia took Ratliff, Rydel, Rocky, Ryland and Ross out to dinner. Leaving the house to Ashley and I. Just what I needed.

I went to the kitchen and made dinner for two and we sat down at the table. We sat there eating and making small talk but I couldn't wait anymore. "Ashley..?" I asked. " Yeah Riker... what's wrong." She is so sweet. " Ashley, I don't want to rush you into things but I really like you..... like a lot and I was just wondering if you err.... maybe wanted to be my..... you know girlfriend?" There I said it. It is out on the table. " Riker, are you serious...?" There you go again Riker you blew it. Strike three you're out! " Of Course I'll be your girlfriend." She got up came over to where I was sitting and gave me a long and sweet kiss. Wait that means... She said yes!!!!!!!! I got up grabbed her and spun her around. You know like they do in movies. I am so happy she said yes! I have to text Julia.

(Phone Conversation)

Riker: Hey Julia can you stop by the store and bring half a dozen Rainbow Roses. I'll pay you back when you get here.

Julia: Sure, but why?

Riker: Well I may or may not have a girlfriend!!!

Julia: Really!??!?!?!?!?!? Ok I will go get them but the group might ask why do you want me to tell them

Riker: Well I'm going to tell everyone that goes to the benefit so they will find out eventually. If they ask you can tell them

Julia: Ok see you in 30 minutes.

Ashley's P.O.V.

Did he really. I have a boyfriend. Riker Anthony Lynch is my boyfriend. I am officially dead. I need to shower. That was random but I don't care. " Hey Riker I need to jump in the shower." Wow TMI Ashley good going. " Ok hun." These cute nicknames are killing me.

Riker's P.O.V.

She is so cute. Wait do you here that. She is listening to R5 while showering. Finally Julia is here. "Thank you Julia here's a twenty." She is a life saver. " Keep the money, let me get in the car to make it seem like you hid the flowers." I guess sweetness runs in the family. " Ok Julia, by the way you are the best." " I know" Julia said leaving. Just in time too. Ashley came out and looked at me. "What do you have behind your back?" She looked confused. Good I want her to be surprised. " These are for you." I said while pulling the flowers from behind my back. " Oh my these are the best. You are the sweetest boyfriend ever!" She ran up and gave me a big hug. Then the rest of the group came in.

Ashley's P.O.V.

My boyfriend is the greatest. I will probably never get used to that. My boyfriend. Hey you want to know the difference between my boyfriend and Riker Lynch. NOTHING!! Ok so enough of my bad jokes. everyone one is back but we have a really busy day tomorrow so we are going to hit the hay. Everyone headed to bed. I went to the bathroom to get dressed and got to my door. Not making the same mistake I knocked. "Come in" Riker say a little weird. I came in and he was in bed waiting for me. I got in and got closer than usual to him I was a little cold be he was....well hot!

He put his arm around me and kissed my forehead. " Today has been great Ashley goodnight." He said pulling me closer. " It has been amazing. Goodnight Riker." With that we both fell asleep.
