Camila hadn't slept since her incident with Lauren. Although Lauren had gone for good, she couldn't get her mind off the young girl. She had known Lauren had a secret, but this was insane. She had loved a killer. It felt like some scripted horror movie, but this was her life. Could ghosts seriously exist? There was a lot of proof, but she had always been doubtful.
Lauren had killed. And not one person, 15 people. She was surprised her parents hadn't recognised her, considering they had lived in LA as children.
The young girl lay in bed on her iPod. She listened to Ed Sheeran and reminisced on her love that was cut short. Maybe that was the reason behind Lauren's hatred of photos, she wouldn't appear in them. Camila felt like she was going insane, there was no way this could be real!
Her Mom walked in sneakily and sighed upon seeing Camila sprawled on her bed in her panties and Lauren's shirt. Her hair was strewn on the pillow and her mascara smudged down her tanned cheeks.
'Camila, you can't live like this!' Her Mom said causing Camila to sit up.
Jennifer wasn't aware of Camila's love life, nor had she met her special someone but she wouldn't allow her daughter to throw her life away over one wretched girl. She had already made that mistake, and would never let history repeat itself.
'You don't understand, I love her Mom. I can't live without her' the young girl complained as her voice shook.
'Love is a powerful thing, but when you find true love it doesn't end. This fling with this girl ended, so it wasn't meant to be. Love enhances life Camila, but it doesn't control life' Jennifer explained folding Camila's clothes neatly and placing them in her closet.
'Her name is Lauren, and she belongs to me' Camila screamed burying her face in her pillow. Why didn't her mom understand? Camila was in love for the first time, and she knew she had found her soulmate.
'What? Lauren?' Jennifer said acting nervous, her daughter oblivious to her behaviour.
'Lauren Jauregui? Dad's patient. She..dumped me' Camila lied. She couldn't tell on Lauren, the older girl had trusted her. Plus, she doubted they would believe her if she told them she had been dating a deceased serial killer. They would surely lose hope in her recovery.
Jennifer threw a glare Camila's way before she grabbed her by the shoulders. Jennifer had always been caring and this was a completely new side to the young mom.
'You listen to me young girl, you stay away from Lauren. She's- dangerous. You don't know what she's capable of and I will not let you waste your time with someone like her' Jennifer screamed, fury raging in her eyes.
'Great, Dad already informed you. You know Mom, she may need therapy but that doesn't make her a threat to me. You parents are pathetic, you make out like you care but if you did, you would try and understand. She loves me' Camila bragged.
Her Mom walked towards the door before she turned back.
'Psychopaths can't love Mila, don't learn that the hard way' She muttered softly before exiting the teenager's room.

Camila's P.O.V
I had just returned home from a draining day at school. Spending the day without Lauren was different, but the girls had kept my mood off her.I suppose I would have to get used to it, she wasn't coming back. I wanted to believe I didn't want her back, but deep down no one could love me like the raven haired rebel could.
As I walked through the front door I saw Constance in the hallway. She was dressed formally, with her signature cigarette loosely hanging in between her index fingers. Upon seeing me, her eyes squinted, almost as if she was trying to read my mind.
