Mackenzie led the average 4 year-old life up until she witnessed the sound of a gunshot and her crying Father entering the tiny apartment they never kept long because they always moved around, the reason she didn't know why until she was older.
She wondered why her Father came in but not her Mother...She asked him,"Daddy, where's Mum?"
He couldn't even look at her. She didn't understand his answer "Uh..She's-Um She's gone, sweetheart." He weakly smiled at her.
"Where did she go..? Are you gonna see her?"She didn't understand anything back then...Especially what her Dad meant when he said
"Yea,I'll see her soon enough sweetheart."
They stayed together ever since.he held onto her closer than ever, almost as if he let go she would disappear. She grew up fighting, being the girl in school no one messed with. She didn't have friends, frankly she didn't even socialize with anyone. Everyone seemed to notice her, though. Something that she always hated.
At the age of 15, her Father had bought a house a month from her birthday claiming that he had a business trip to go on for a couple months and he wouldn't be home for her birthday.
He lied. On Mackenzie's birthday, she woke up to a phone call around 12 a.m but, not just from anyone It was the Chicago State Police Department stating that her Father was found dead. She knew why he had trained her to fight and bought the house for her.
He didn't leave her alone though. She had the house, the car, and her childhood bestfriend.
A 16,000 pound bear named, Coco.
