Madelyn was a laid back, sweet, funny, girl. She was just genuinely nice to be around and happy. And always finds a way to see the best in everyone.

Lily was more confident than Madelyn was. She always had that quick wit and was the one who got the boys' attention.

And they were best friends. They were both completely different from one another, although they had similarities there was a lot of differences. They were the greatest friends.. until they weren't. And that changed them and their friendship forever.

*flashback*

"I CAN'T BELIEVE WE'RE GOING TO SEE TAYLOR SWIFT LIVE IN LESS THAN AN HOUR!!!" an excited Lily celebrated

"I KNOW OMG I CAN'T EVEN!! IT'S GONNA BE SO RAAAAAAAAAD!!!" Madelyn screamed, joining her best friend.

The 15 year olds put their matching all-Taylor-merch on and headed for the car. Lily and Madelyn were best friends. And have been for 6 years. They were going to their first ever concert. For their fav, Taylor Swift. T Swift was the reason they became friends in middle school. They were both huge fans and bonded and gotten really close.

"MOM!! COME ON! PLEASE LET'S GO NOW!!" Lily jumped up and down and screamed like a 6 year old

As they left for the concert, they listened to 1989 the whole way and had a pre-show party before the real one began.

Madelyn's POV

We made our way two seats away from the front row, bang in the middle, which were literally the best seats. As the seats began to fill, the lights started to lower down and the curtains were gradually making their way up. The volume in the atmosphere vastly increased, as did the excitement. Adrenaline running through everyone's bodies.

A couple of smaller acts were playing and none of them were really that good to be completely honest. The played a couple songs and left. We were all just here for Taylor. But then a male walked on stage- a teen, maybe 16-17 and girls behind us began screeching, they were loud but no where near as loud as the ones at be beginning for Tay Tay.

"Hi guys my name's Shawn Mendes." Well damn. HE WAS BEAUTIFUL. The screaming behind us and throughout the audience interrupted him.

"How are you guys tonight?! Are you ready to rock this place?!" He shouted and smiled looking at everyone. He looked so darn innocent and cute.

"YES SHAWN!!!!!!! WOOOO!!"

"I LOVE YOU SHAWN!!"

A variety of fans shouted.

"Let's go!!"

He started off with his single Stitches and then two more other songs, Life of the Party and Imagination. He was so good.

There was this really awkward moment I remember clearly when it was silent because everyone was concentrating and I screamed "YES SHAWNY WOO!!" And I remember he looked straight at me and smiled huge which got the crowds heart melted and they all shrieked. It was insane. I was smiling for SO long.

I looked over to Lily tell her that I was in love because he was so good but when I turned to her, her eyes were as wide as saucers, staring at Shawn. She was already literally IN LOVE with the guy. She couldn't take her eyes off him.
