Chapter 12

Flirting and Kids...

Faith’s P.O.V.

It was thankfully Saturday. Getting through the week was definitely a hard task. Hope was going to retake her test on Monday so she had been studying like crazy all week. I roll out of bed and my feet hit the cold floor. I walk out of my room and walk around the house to find no one there. I sigh and walk to the kitchen muttering to myself. It was weird living with a bunch of guys. I will say this, they are hot. It was still weird though. Hope said that I didn’t have to but I didn’t want to stay at our flat all by myself. I grab a bowl, some cereal, and a spoon. As I walk out the kitchen door I bump into something- rather someone. I drop the cereal box and it spills all over the floor.

“Sorry, I didn’t see you.” Harry says bending down to help me pick it up. Harry without a shirt, I might add.

  I sigh, “It’s fine. I wasn’t paying attention either.”

“I guess we both weren’t” I look up through my eyelashes and see him smirking at me.

I grab another handful of cereal, “What?”

  He shrugs, “Nothing.”

I walk over to the trash can and throw what I collected in. I hear a voice behind me, “I was going to cook breakfast and since you failed with your cereal-”

  “I didn’t fail.” I say flatly.

He nods, “Whatever floats your boat.”

I roll my eyes and Harry continues, “Anyways, do you want some?”

  I nod, “Sure.”

He brushes past me and turns on the stove, “Could you grab the eggs from the fridge?”

I open the fridge and grab the eggs then walk back to Harry.

He puts the pan on the hot stove, “Is fried okay?”

I nod and he cracks the eggs into the pan. He turns to me and stares at me for a second before saying, “Tell me a little bit about yourself.”

I shrug and shift feet, “There isn't much to tell.”

“Well, sure there is.” He thinks for a moment, “How did you meet Hope?”

I walk to the fridge and grab a gallon of milk, “She helped me out of a tough situation and helped me get back on my feet.”

“What situation was that?” Harry says crossing his arms over his bare chest.

I pour the milk into a glass, “That is none of your business.”

  “Why not?”

I look over at him, “Why the sudden interest?”

H shrugs and says with a smirk, “Maybe I think you're cute.”

I almost choke on my milk but manage to keep my cool. I take a step towards him and cross my arms, “ Is that so?”

He takes a step towards me and also crosses his arms so that we were almost touching, “Maybe it is.”

I lean closer to him and he bites his lip. I give him a small smile, “Maybe I think you're cute, too.”

He grins and brings his face closer to mine. I put my hand on his chest to stop him and whisper, “You want to know what else I think?”

He bites his lip again, “What is that?”

  “Your eggs are burning.”

He quickly turns around and turns  off the stove. I give a small laugh and walk out of the kitchen back to my room. I sigh and sit down in the chair by the window. I will admit that Harry is hot. Really hot. I'm just not looking to be in a relationship right now. I'm planning on going to college and there would be no use in dating before I leave. The last thing I need to do is get emotionally attached to someone only to have to leave them. I shake my head ,pull out The Perks of Being a Wallflower and begin reading it for the 7th time. A short while I hear a soft knock on my door. I crack it open and see Harry standing there. “I remade breakfast if you want some.”
