I slept a lot the next day. I just didn't want to see Ryan. But after the kiss, I had to try to get him out of my head. I'm going to be a freshman and he's going to a sophomore, at the same school. Great! I suddenly heard knocks on my front door so I got up, fixed my hair and went downstairs and opened the door. It wasn't Ryan, it was Kyle. Holy shit.
"Hey Kay, um, can we talk?" He asked looking nervous.
"um, sure." I agreed to get it over with.
"I'm sorry for how I acted the other night..." he said sitting on the step .
I followed him and sat, looking at Ryan's house, man I should go over there. "Yeah, it's fine. Just don't try it again." I replied seriously.
"Yeah, okay. Well I'm going to go." He said standing up. Then he turned and looked at me. "Go see him, he really likes you." He smiled and walked away.
I just starred at him as he walked away. I finally got up off the step and got dressed. I needed to go see someone before Ryan. I walked to Katie' s house and knocked on the door, she answered. When she saw me a big smile came across her face. We hugged each other and talked for a while.
"Okay something's up." She said after a while.
"Boys" I said turning bright red.
"Omfg, your kidding me, you don't believe in love Kay!" she smirked.
"I know, but a kid named Ryan Hunter moved in next door and we started hanging out and he kissed me! And I think I'm falling for him. I don't know what to do Katie." I sighed and looked down.
"Go after the kid. He obviously likes you! And your crazy if you don't go after this guy." She said pushing me out of the door.
There is definitely a reason why we are best friends. I'm really going to miss her next year, but she's right. I need to get this guy!
