Chapter 13

Emma woke up the next morning screaming. All the sudden Hook ran into the bedroom. She tried to push him off but all he did was pin her to the bed with both hands.

"Hey, hey, hey" he said trying to get her attention. He put his left hand over her mouth. "Shhhh"

Her eyes widened as she looked down to the hand over her mouth. She then kept struggling to get out of his hold but he kept her down. "Emma! What's wrong?"

She calmed down a little bit panting as she stared up into his blue eyes. "Y-You...weren't--"

"I know. Elizabeth needed me for something. I didn't think you were gonna wake up before I got back. You scared me. I thought something bad happened to you"

Something did...or will. She thought recalling her dream of Hook dying.

"Please. Tell me what happened. You woke last night from a nightmare and now screaming. Swan, you need to tell me what happened" he pleaded.

She shook her head looking at her hands as a few tears fell. "N-No...I-I can't..." She kept shaking her head.

"Emma"

"Every dream I've had has come true and I don't want to see you..." She shook her head.

"See me what?" He asked holding her head with his left.

"Die" she choked on the word as tears fell.

"Emma, I'm not going to die. I managed to make it 200 years. I can make it a few more" he said pulling her in close. "Don't worry about me. I'm not going anywhere. I promise"

"How did you get your left hand?" She whispered.

He laughed slightly. "Magic"

Emma just nodded as she buried her face in his chest. He made a promise he couldn't keep. That was just going to hurt Emma even more.
