Gabby's POV
I walked out to the area from backstage everything was getting setup for tonight's show. I found a seat and sat down I just needed to clear my head from everything. Like the one person that has been on my mind is John. I have had a huge crush on him for a while basically since I've became a WWE Diva. Every Diva and Superstar has told me to tell him but I can't I don't want to ruin our friendship. Our friendship is more valuable than going out with each other.
"Hey you okay" John said while sitting down next to me?
"Yeah" I couldn't look at him so I just looked around the arena.
"I have known you for over a year now and I know when something is bothering you. So please talk to me you know you can tell me anything" he grabbed my hand.
I felt like he was teasing me but he wasn't. John and I would always hold hands but that doesn't mean we are a couple. We just play a couple on TV which I wish was actually real. I knew I could tell him anything but right now isn't the time. It is going to kill me inside when I have to kiss him tonight. I know as soon as we get backstage he is going to act like the kiss meant nothing. Which for him it might not mean anything.
"I know but there is nothing I have to tell you" I said.
"You're lying" he used his other hand to make me look at him. But I kept avoiding eye contact.
"Please look at me" he pleaded while still holding onto my face with his one hand while his other hand was holding my hand.
I finally had the guts to look at him and when I did I got lost in his beautiful blue eyes. We didn't say anything to each other.
"Hey J-John-sorry did I just interrupt something" Randy stopped a couple feet away from us.
"No" I removed John's hand from my face "we were just finish talking to each other about tonight" I got up and left them so they can talk.
I went backstage and straight into the Divas locker room. I saw all the girls talking on the couch. So I decided to just laid on top of their laps and groaned into a pillow.
"What happened" Kaitlyn asked?
"He tried to get me to tell him what's wrong" I said getting up and sitting on the Bella twins. Not that they care anyway because I don't really weight anything.
"What's the problem with that" Brie Bella asked me?
"There is a big problem with that. Not only that but he grabbed my hand. When he asked me to look at him and I didn't he grab my face with his other hand and made me look at him. All we did was look at each other. He was going to say something but Randy came over and ruined our moment." I got uncomfortable sitting on the twins so I got up and sat on the table in front of all the girls.
"How come every time you and John have moments like that somebody ruins it" Aj said while drinking water.
"I don't know but tonight I am going to feel tortured" I looked at the floor while trying to think of possibilities on how I can try an get out of it.
"Oh yeah because you have a kissing scene with him right" Cameron asked while fixing her outfit?
"Look you have to tell him" Kaitlyn butted in.
"I can't I won't ruin our friendship because I want a relationship with him" I got up and grab my duffel bag so I can take my outfit out for tonight.
"Fine you won't tell him than don't come up to me and say what if..." Kaitlyn said.
"Fine any of you girls want to have a quick match with me" I said while looking at all the divas.
"We will" the Bella twins said.
"Fine we will have a tag team match. Kaitlyn wanna be my partner" I asked before I got changed?
"Yeah" she said getting off the couch.
I went into the bathroom to get change all I keep thinking about is John. Why does a guy like him have to make a big impact on my life? But I guess once you fall in love with somebody it's hard to get over them. He is around me all the time. After I got ready I put my hair into a bun and walked out of the dressing room and saw that everybody was gone except for Kaitlyn.
"If you are about to ask where all the girls are. They wanted to watch the match so they left with Nikki and Brie. That's why nobody is here" she grabbed my hand and ran to the ring.
With Kaitlyn's running we got to the ring in 1 minute max. Once we got into the ring I see all the divas watching us along with the superstars.
"That's weird" I thought.
While I was getting ready for my match against the twins. I turned my head as soon as I heard someone laughing. I look to see Randy, Zack and John sitting together. Randy and Zack are laughing while John is looking at me seriously. I turned my head back around I need to focus not worry about them.
"Alright" I said to the Bella twins "don't use twin magic on me."
They just smiled "we will see about that."
