Chapter 6: Let's deal with business

I woke up and looked out my window. It's a beautiful day, the clouds look extra puffy and the sky has the best shade of blue. I got dressed into my favourite dress and put on my high heals. I then put on some make up and headed over to Kiara's, *Knock Knock Knock* Kiara's Mum opened up the door and said "Wow, don't you look lovely. Where are you two going anyway?"

"I don't know just having breakfast out at a restaurant, is Kiara ready?" I replied with a smile. Kiara walked out in a stunning dress, also wearing high heals and makeup "Well, we should probably go catch that bus" I said as we waved goodbye to Kiara's mum and went to the bus stop. Once we got to the restaurant someone directed us to a table and we sat down and ordered some lemonade. "So what's been going on?" I asked Kiara "Not much, just stuff," Kiara replied with half a smile "what about you?" Kiara asked "yeah not much" I replied. We stared at the menu until we decided what we wanted to eat, "what do you want to eat?" I asked as I looked up at Kiara. "I'm thinking of having pancakes..." Kiara replied then put the menu down "what are you having?" Kiara then asked me "um..... either Bacon and eggs or two croissants one with Ham and cheese and one with Jam" I replied as Kiara got up " Ok well I'll go order and yours will be a surprise" Kiara said with a weird smile as she ran off. Kiara came back and sat down and someone came and collected our menus. When our food arrived Kiara had pancakes with Jam and whipped cream and the other one with nutella and whipped cream "Thank you" Kiara said after the guy put her plate down in front of her. Then the guy put down a plate in front of me with two croissants "Thank you" I said with a smile. "How's yours?" Kiara asked me "Yeah good what about yours" I answered "Yeah it's good, I'm nearly done" Kiara answered just as her phone started ringing. *Yo I'll tell you what I want what I really really want, So tell me what you want what you really really want* Kiara answered her phone "hello?" she said "oh hey Liam, oh shit I totally forgot. I'll be there asap!" Kiara said in a rush "what's going on?" I asked "It's already 11am and I promised Liam I would meet up with him," Kiara replied as she got up, grabbed her bag and got a bit of Jam off her plate with her finger then ate it "Bye" she said as she ran out of the restaurant. I looked on the table Kiara left 20 dollars for her food, I got up and put 15 dollars on the table then walked out.

Kiara's POV

After rushing like hell out of that restaurant to see Liam I finally spotted him "heyy" I said as I walked up to Liam who was sitting on a small wall thing. Liam stood up and said hi then started walking towards the carnival. I ran up in front of him and yelled out "I'll bet you there" Liam started running after me "OI THAT'S NOT FAIR" Liam said. I got to the gate and quickly stopped, I leaned against the gate and started looking at my nails with an evil grin. "That was so not fair!" Liam said panting "yeah it kinda was" Kiara said with a smile "No, No it was not" Liam said smiling. I looked up at Liam to catch him staring at me, He quickly looked away. After I handed the money over to the security guard (without Liam noticing) I started running though the main entrance. I looked behind me and Liam was catching up to me and fast but I kept on running anyway. Soon enough Liam caught up to me and grabbed me around the waist then span me around. He put me down then I turned around and looked at him in the eyes and then cracked up laughing. After having my laughing fit and collapsing down to the ground Liam helped me up and we went on some of the scariest rides. Later on that day after going on all the scary rides Liam and I decided to walk around the carnival and look at all the stools. We found a really nice jewellery stool and had a little look at it, there was some really nice necklaces there and I saw Liam buying something from that stool "hey, do you want to go sit down at the beach and watch the sunset?" Liam asked me with a smile "shit! Is it already that time of day?" I asked "sorry, yeah sure I'll come" I said face palming myself. We walked down to the back of the carnival where there was a side walk down to the beach. When we got down to the beach we found a couple of rocks so that we could sit down. Liam put his hand in his pocket and turned to look at me "Do you like me Kiara?" Liam said "Liam, I've got a boyfriend...." I replied with a bit of a sad frown "No, no, I meant as a friend do you like me?" Liam corrected himself "oh, yeah of course your one of my best friends" I stated "one?" Liam said frowning "yeah well the other ones Fiona, anyway why are you asking that?" I asked "I was just making sure we where friends" Liam said. I frowned to what he had said, like why wouldn't we be friends, If I wasn't his friend I wouldn't have come to hang out with him today. "Liam?" I asked "yea" Liam replied in curiosity "Why would you ever think that I don't like you? If I didn't like you I wouldn't have come hang out with you today and-" I got cut off "I know I know but-" then I cut him off "No listen to me Liam today has been one of the best days ever ok? I had a lot of fun today and I hope you did to!" I said then sighed and looked back out at the sunset knowing that Liam was still staring at me. Liam reached back into his pocket and got out a present looking thing "I got you something" Liam said handing it to me "what is it?" I asked "open it and find out". I opened up the present and it was a silver necklace with a silver heart at the bottom, on the heart it said "you are my best friend" I turned around to look at Liam "Thank you" I said "do you like it" Liam asked "No" I answered "No?" Liam questioned "I don't like it Liam. I love it thank you so much" I said with a little laugh "Do you want me to put it on you?" Liam said putting his hand out to get the necklace "sure, thank you". After Liam put my necklace around my neck we stood up and decided to leave because the carnival was now packing up.
