Chapter 5

NICOLES POV

“Hey your lover boy is coming over” Brad joked and bumped into my hip. Caroline and I giggled and kept walking to a shaded spot under a tree.

“Hey again Ezra” Brad smiled and winked at him well sitting next to Caroline. One of his many gay traits he has. Caroline and I giggled at Brad and his stupidity.

“Hey Brad, how’s your day going” Ezra winked back at him and we all busted out in a bit of laughter.  

The bell went just as we all had finished laughing and we all got up and went to last period. Brad and I were joking around as we walked past his group on the way to the door and Shelly, who thinks she is Ezra’s girlfriend, saw us.

“Hey you Nicole person, why the hell are you hanging with Ezra” I looked behind me and smiled as Ezra walked next to me.

“Leave her alone bitch” He said and all his mates looked at him and were just as shocked as I was.

“God Shelly why are you so possessive I mean he’s not even your boyfriend.” Evan spoke coming out from behind Michael as he walked over to us pulling us to the classroom door.

“I think my day just got better.” I whispered into Caroline’s ear and she giggled.

Last period went pretty fast and we decided to go out to get some boosts. Ezra, brad and Caroline all came in my car and we were going to pick them up later.

“Brad why are you so gay” I laughed after he commented on Adam Lambert being hot.

“Hey you love me” He laughed with all of us following.

We parked and walked to the boost shop on cafe’ strip. We all got our drinks and walked down to the water which was just down the street. We sat in the sun just up from the water. We laughed and talked, it was just an amazing time. Brad and Ezra walked off for a bit and Caroline and I decided to walk along the walker together. We spoke about boys and what we are going to do for the last year and just had a great time. It had been about 20 minutes and we heard this running coming from behind before we knew it we were in the water soaked and in a bit of laughter.

After semi drying off we headed back to mine for a BBQ that our parents were having. We spent the night in the pool and then went up stairs after, because our parents were too drunk to take anyone home so it was like a massive sleepover. All the parents stayed in the 3 spare rooms and the boys slept in Alex’s room and Caroline slept in mine. Well not really seems we didn’t go to sleep till around 4 in the morning.

“Morning Nicole” I heard Brad come onto the balcony yawning.

“Morning” I said quietly as I watched the sun rise.

Brad and I both had a habit of waking up earlier when we have BBQ’s and never end up going home. Brad made his way back inside as Ezra came out. Standing behind me he put his hands on my hips and his head on my shoulder. We stood there for a while before either of us spoke.

EZRA’S POV

“Morning” The words echoed in my head as I came back from deep thought into reality.

“Nicole, I think I love you” As shocked as I was to hear myself say the words I have known this for a while. Well I’ve known it since about junior high but with the different groups and not knowing you as well when we grow into high school I left it.

“Ezra, can we go for a drive”

I grabbed her hand and led her to the bed room. We both got changed and Alex finally forgave me and let me borrow some clothes. Not long after we headed out.

NICOLE'S POV

We drove for a while before we knew it Ezra and I blanked out.
