His name was Glitch. He travelled with me from my first steps to my first love. Even though he's gone now, I am forever in my little robot caretaker's debt. I wish he could see the outcome of our story, see how indebted we are to him. I wish I could too, but that's in the future. Glitch always did claim he knew what the future held for us, he had fun predicting gruesome endings for our little band. But his kind of fun was definitely different from ours. I'm writing this, or rather typing this, as a commemoration to him. When I'm done it's being uploaded onto his data chip and then buried along with his cold metal body.
