Luke's Pov

I walk into the Mos Eisley cantina with Ben

"you go on I'm just gonna get a drink." I tell him

"Alright just stay here and don't look at anyone." he says

I tap the bartender and she turns around

"Y/N" I say surprised to see her here I thought she left to join the rebels months ago

"Hey Luke" she says and smiles

"What are you doing here I thought you left?" I ask her

" I did but my uncle fell and broke his arm so he needed somebody to help run this place." she said

I nodded that made sense.

"what are you still doing here I thought you'd be long gone." she said

"I would but you know how it is Uncle Owen needs me to help out." I said and she nodded

Next thing I know this guy turns me around

"I don't like you" he or it says to me

'uh sorry" I say

"back off!" Y/N says

"or what pretty lady" he says smirking

"she just smiles and pours a pitcher on his head

"Now either play nice or get out." she says in a sickly sweet tone

"Um uh thanks but I could've handled it." I say

She just laughs ''Okay Luke whatever you say."

Real smooth skywalker I thought maybe I'll just go see Ben, I'm about to leave when C3PO comes in yelling

"Master Luke!"

Oh great what now I think to myself.

Your Pov

You were not very happy about having to come home early and help out your uncle, you really enjoyed being a pilot but seeing your old friend Luke made it enjoyable. You were just talking when all of the sudden a droid came in you were about to tell the person who owns them droids weren't allowed in the cantina when it said

"Master Luke!"

"what 3PO? Luke asked

"it's R2 he wondered off somewhere I tried to stop him but he's much faster than me."

Luke sighs "Alright I'll go find him you just stay here we don't need you getting lost too." Luke said

"Alright but please hurry" the droid whose name I now know to be 3PO said

"Y/N I'm really sorry but I have to go find R2 it was really nice talking to you though" he says and tries to leave.

"woah back up you do remember who you're talking to right?" you asked

"Yeah look Y/N I'm really sorry it's just I" but you cut him off

"you're missing the point Lukey" I say cuz I know he hates it "I'm coming with you"

"But what about the cantina?" he asks

You take one look around seeing all the drunk creatures yell "they'll be fine let's go!" and then drag him out the door.

You stop at the door so Luke can ask 3PO which way this R2 unit went

"I believe he went that way" 3PO says pointing east

"Alright thanks we'll be right back" Luke says

We begin walking and you wonder how you're ever going to find anything in this desert that you used to call home. You decide now is as good as any time to talk to Luke about joining you and the rest of your team. "So Luke I know that your Aunt and Uncle really need you here but we could really use you flying up there with us with the imperial starfighters were losing people every day, and you were one of the best pilots on Tatooine." you tell him

He blushes a little bit then looks like he's about to say something but doesn't

"Alright I know that look what aren't you telling me?" you ask

"Nothing" he says and you just give him the look

"Alright alright fine the truth is the reason I'm looking for this droid is because he came from an imperial starship and escaped in an escape pod." you probably wouldn't have believed If it wasn't for all those storm troopers up ahead.

"hide!'Luke yells you both run into a small cave onto the side of the wall.

You turn around and begin to ask more questions when you hear a beeping noise

"R2!" Luke says

The droid answers " beep beep boop"

"I know but we have to get back to Ben and get you to Alderaan" Luke says

"Ben you mean crazy old hermit Ben that lives in the caves?'

"Yes but he's not crazy he's a Jedi knight and he"

But you cut him off " a Jedi knight Luke those have been extinct for years." you say concerned for him

"Look I know it seems crazy but uncle Owen bought R2 and he's carrying an important message from some woman in Alderaan, that's what the stormtroopers are looking for."

"wow" you whisper shocked

"I know it's a lot to take in trust me I wouldn't be telling you this if it wasn't true."

"I do trust you Luke but what about your aunt and uncle?"

He suddenly looks down "they were killed when I was went looking for R2 earlier" he says

"Oh Luke I'm sorry" you say giving him hug

"Thanks Y/N but I'm alright that's why I have to get to Alderaan." he says

"don't worry you'll get there" you say determinedly

"But how there's no way the stormtroopers won't notice us?" he says

"leave that to me!" you say and begin to leave the cave

"What are you gonna do?" Luke asks

"I don't know I'll improvise I am a rebel you know" you tell him and throw in a wink."Now go I've got this!" you say

"bye Y/N I hope I see you again." he says

You smile 'you can count on it." you tell him

As Luke and R2 leave you get an idea you sneak up behind a rock then slowly follow it to the nearest stormtrooper, you're about to attack when another storm trooper noticed you. You quickly kick the one closest to you knocking him out instantly. After that you duck while the other one shoots at you but he misses of course stormtroopers have terrible aim. As the stormtrooper waves for others to come help, you take this opportunity to grab the blaster and start shooting at him. As your shooting them you look up to see a ship leaving. You smile because in your heart you know that Luke's on that ship. After seeing the ship leave the stormtroopers get orders to retreat back to base. You decide keep the blaster and head to the cantina. As you're about to enter you look up at the sky one last time "good luck Skywalker I know you can do it." then head into whatever turmoil awaits you today inside.
