Meeting You

*Authors Note: Sometimes, we meet people unexpectedly. and therefore, it causes everything to change. I didn't mean for all this to happen. I didn't mean for people to get hurt. I didn't mean to lose friends in the process. But at the same time, I have made a new lifelong friend that I know cares for me the same as I do to him. It just happened. But all we can do now, is look forward, and not regret the past, and all the decisions that were made. all names have been changed.

                                                                                  Part I

We finally did it. Me and Christopher had made it to a year in our relationship. Quite a milestone for us, considering our young age. This past year with him has been like no other. Yes we had our ups and our downs, but what couple doesn't? Today he's taking me out to town to celebrate us.

"You don't have to take me to such nice places. Yes I know that it is our anniversary, but I would be perfectly content with us staying back at your house and watching a movie or something?" I said graciously. Now don't get me wrong, I love going out on the town. But it's not something that needs to be done.

"Bethany, baby. This is something that I want to do for us. I just wouldn't feel right just sitting at home on our anniversary. I want to go out and do something with you." He said, not taking his eyes off me.  I smiled. He treats me so well, how did I get so lucky? I always think to myself about this.

Our schools homecoming dance is now only two weeks away, and he has still not asked me yet. Yes, I know it may sound wrong to still make your boyfriend of a year ask you to a dance. But this is my first one, and I would like to be asked like every other single girl. Today would be the perfect day for him to do so, I hope he does.

We got out of the car, and I immediately was sweating. Considering it was late August, I probably should have not chosen to wear a light sweater on top of my dress. We walked over to where everything was. I had brought my camera with me so I would be able to take some pictures while we were here. I absolutely love photography, I am hoping to possibly major in it.

"So what are we doing first?" I ask, wandering behind him as we walk.

"Well, I was thinking it would be fun for us to go to the aquarium. Since I know it's been forever since you've been. Then we can get a bite to eat, and after that I have a boat ride set up for us. But first, let me go and get our tickets for the aquarium." Christopher replied in full detail.

We're doing so much, honestly I feel sort of overwhelmed. Oh well, I know we'll have fun.

After he got our tickets we walked through the whole aquarium in under an hour and a half. I enjoyed seeing all the cute jellyfish and turtles. As well, the penguins. He took me out to some pizza place for our lunch, and after that we had some time to kill before our boat ride. We walked over to the bridge that's in town and I looked out towards the city, and I looked back at him. Only to find he was looking at me and not to city. What a beautiful site it was; the city.

"Darling, would you care to take some pictures of me?" I asked handing him my camera.

"Of course, I would love to take pictures of such a beautiful girl." I blushed at hearing his response. He took some pictures of me with the city in the background, and then we took some of ourselves together. After all this, we walked over to where we would be getting on the boat.

The boat ride was very cool, the water was nice and the breeze was cool.

"I enjoyed every second of that boat ride. It was very relaxing, and of course I was with you which makes it even better." I said to Christopher as we walked into one of the shops.  It was getting even hotter outside as the day went on, hence the reason why we went inside. Our day was coming to an end, and I was growing very tired. We left and Christopher dropped me off at my house. I thanked him for the amazing day I had with him, and kissed his cheek carelessly as we parted ways for our evening.
