Adi walks back to the elevator, confused and embarrassed. "Leo... gay?" She thought to herself. She steps out and walks towards the mound of junk outside room 724 down the hall.

She tried to form some sort of apology in her mind as she walked back towards the door. She stops right in front of her mound of junk and sighs. "...Leo?"

"..yes?"

"...I'm sorry I was rude to you earlier. I should not have made assumptions."

Silence.

Leo climbs down from the top bunk and walks towards the door slowly with a smirk on his face. "What assumptions would that be Miss Adi?"

Adi face flushes red from embarrassment and looks down. "I thought you somehow manipulated your way into getting a female roommate because you were a mischievous boy looking for fun. I didn't realize that you were paired with me because you were gay and did not want to be tempted by a male roommate..."

Leo attempts to cover up his mischievous amusement and puts on a sharp, toothy, smile, revealing his fangs. "It's all forgiven. Let's just start over, so your name's Adi? What's the last name?"

" Fin..uh..." Adi quickly attempts to come up with a different last name, realizing she did not want to give away who she was. "Fin..kle. Finkle. Yep, my name is Adi Finkle."

Leo furrows his eyebrows in slight confusion. "Okay Adi ...Finkle. The name's Leo Palatinus."

Adi smiles and states, "Alright Leo Palatinus, I am happy to meet you!" Let me bring in my stuff before someone trips when they walk down the hall and I have to pay for their medical bills.

Adi starts bringing in her junk leaving Leo at the door and decides to attempt at small talk. "So, I noticed the fangs, you are 20 years of age I presume?" She looks at the bunk bed and notices Leo's stuff residing at the top; she frowns, but quickly attempts to cover it up as she places her stuff by the bottom bunk.

"Yep, that would be correct. Born and raised in The Blood Lands." Leo states.

Adi feels a sudden breeze and looks up, seeing that Leo seemingly teleported to the top bunk. She jumps back, startled. "I see your vamp powers are coming in nicely." She half frowns, as she thinks about her current, lack-of-power state.

"Yeah, they are already fully developed. I guess you could say I am a fast learner as well." he winks and smiles cockily to himself.

She looks at him, puzzled, but quickly dismisses her thoughts.

In the blink of an eye Leo appears inches from Adi and slowly inhales at her neck. Chills run down her spine and she quickly takes a step back. "So.. you're just a boring old human I presume? Or are you not 20 yet? I don't smell anything interesting about you." Leo states.

Adi frowns. Who knows if I am anything. Adi thinks to herself. "I am 19 years of age. My birthday is not until the 21st of September."

Leo laughs at her negative tendencies. "You know, you frown too much. You need to put a smile on your face princess." he states.

Adi rolls her eyes. Here we go again, she thinks.

After Adi finishes settling in, she picks out her oversized tee and kicks off her Nikes. She begins to start pulling up her top when she suddenly feels warmth behind her. She stops, and turns around to see Leo inches away from her with glowing red eyes, hungry with desire. Startled, Adi quickly does a roundhouse kick to his stomach and punches him in the face.

"I KNEW IT! YOU CREEP! I knew you were not gay! I cannot believe that I apologized to you!"

Adi pushes Leo out of the dorm room and slams the door.

*3 hours later*

"Adi, please let me in. I'm sorry..."

"Adi.."

The door opens.

Leo looks up at the door from the floor, gets up, and cautiously looks through the doorframe to see a showered Adi dressed in sweatpants and an oversized tee.

"Tell them you are not gay."

"Who?"

"The desk services here at Kippler Hall. Tell them you are not gay so that they will place you somewhere else."

"Adi.. the desk services are closed, it's one in the morning. I will first thing tomorrow."

Adi frowns and ponders to herself for a moment, deciding whether it was worth waiting or if she should kick him out of the room again until the morning.

"Fine. First thing in the morning, you better go down there and fix this obvious inconvenience you have put us in. Just be glad that I do not want to think about this anymore until tomorrow."

Leo quickly runs to the top bunk before Adi changed her mind, forgetting hygiene. Adi turns off the light and snuggles into her cozy sheets in the bottom bunk.

"Adi?"

"Yes, Leo?"

"You're scary when you're angry."
