||Friday, July 22nd|| Alana looked as pale as a ghost.... and she wouldn't move. "Will you come on and tell me what's going on?" I asked. As she started to explain, I realized why my best friend was shocked. "A few days ago I took off my bracelet to take go get my nails done, and when I got back, it was not there. I thought I had just missed placed it or something. Well, Ive been searching and searching for it, but I never managed to find it." She spat out. Alaska's had her bracelet since fifth grade. Her cousin, Aspen gave it to her the day before she went missing. Ever since then, Alaska rarely takes it off. "How would someone get it?" I managed to studder. "Well, heres the thing. When I was in ninth grade, I was having a tough time at school and almost killed myself. I wrote a note to my family, and kept it in my safe, so no one would ever read it." She said, as her voice started to break. Someway, somehow, someone got ahold of Alaska's bracelet, and her note. "How could someone do this?" I asked. "I have no idea. They could have broken into my house, or got one of my friends to take it." She stated. "Please don't say you're accusing me of taking your jewelry and note. I did not even know you had a safe in your room!" I pleaded. "No of course not.... I just dont know who could have done it." She stated with doubt in her voice. After sitting in the car and contimplating for a few hours, we decided to keep driving to Miami so we can see Kate but Monday.
