Chapter 6

i wake up feeling overheated and something heavy on my. i open my eyes to find myself in a room that is filled with the light of the sun but i don't recognize it. i look down to what is laying on me and find an arm. i stiffen as i look at the arm and follow it to the body layed next to me. oh god so it wasn't a dream. i think. no mackenzie it most certainly is not a dream we need to get out of here. we must get out of here now. my wolf says to me. i slowly move the arm off of me and try to move out of the bed only to have the grip tighten on me and pull me into the chest of the man laid next to me. "where do you think you going?" he says in a husky and groggy voice. i don't say anything as my body goes still as his hands slide up from my waist, but when they go a little to high i move quickly and cover my naked body. "stop" i whimper. but he just turns me until i am on my back and he is hovering over me. i turn my head and close my eyes. "don't worry baby i don't bite that hard" he says but then chuckles as he gets up and walks to the other side of the room. "my name is Derek sweetheart. mind telling me yours?" he asks. i cover myself with the blankets as much as i can and whimper. I watch him closely as he then walks back towards me. "M-mackenzie...." i say nervously as he comes up to me and hands me a cup of water that smells weird. i refuse the water which makes him frown but his smirk comes back as he hands me a small plate of food which makes my stomach growl in hunger. "Here eat it will make you feel better" he says as he hands me the plate and i take it. i am about to take a bite of food when my wolf starts to tell me that its got something in it. i put the piece of food back down and stand up not caring that i had nothing on. Derek looks up at me surprised and smiles "whats the matter my swee...." he starts to ask me but i throw the plate at him. "you think that i am stupid not to notice when my food has been tampered with. You think that putting something in my food will make me submit to you or something? well forget it." i growl at him as i look at my feet and start to tremble and then i feel my body shifting again. i let out a grunt of pain but then close my eyes as i feel something different about this shift. i then open them as my eyes open again and i see a very angry derek making his way towards me. " shift. now. Mackenzie" he growls out each word with a tone of voice that makes my wolf whine in pain. i growl again and shake my head to clear away any negative feelings off of me. i then notice the window is slighty ajar and make my way around the room in a circle toward it. Before he even notices what is happening i jump out the window and land with a soft thud on the ground below. i hear an angry roar come from above me and then as i am running i hear footsteps behind me. "stop her!!" i hear Derek shout out only to be answered back by the howls of his pack mates. i see some run toward me and block my way i growl at them to move and to my surprise they whimper and walk out of my way. i look at them and nod my head in thanks. i then see the trees that i last saw my friends at. i let my wolf take over and she lets out a howl for help and not even a second after she hears the sweet howls of the silver moon's pack. she starts putting on her full speed and stops when she sees alpha glen's wolf come up to her but his wolf growls at her. she lets an earth shattering roar out at him and he bows his head low to the ground and whimpers. she then lets me have control again and look at him shocked at what was happening. he walks behind a tree and shifts then comes out wearing a pair of shorts. he tosses me a long t-shirt and i take it behind a tree and shift. "Alpha glen we don't have long derek is coming" i say quickly he nods and shifts again and then scoops me onto his back. i explain everything to him as he runs back to his pack house.

After me and alpha glen get back to the pack house he starts getting every man and women who can fight ready for the battle to come while me, john and Jacob get the elders and the kids to safety in the pack house basement. "Mackenzie what happened to you?" john says worriedly. "i will explain everything to you later but I can tell you this....they turned me" I say sadly as I get the last elder inside. "now get your weapons ready cuz the bastard is coming for me. he thinks I am his property or something since he found some way to turn me." I say as I grab my rifle and load it. I hand it to john "stay close to me and make sure not to hit me with your bullets" I say as I shift into my wolf form. In my wolf form I'm above the average wolf height and my ears perk up as I hear Alpha glen come inside but when he sees me he bows his head again like he did earlier. my wolf form grunts in satisfaction. "Mackenzie you... you are the one they are after you should be with the others inside the basement for safety. quickly now get inside and....." he says. I growl at him then my wolf takes over and she opens our mind to his. "NO I REFUSE TO LET INNOCENT LIVES SUFFER FOR MY PROTECTION. DO YOU NOT THINK I CAN FIGHT. I WILL NOT LET YOU GET IN MY WAY GLEN I SUGGEST ALL OF YOU STAY OUT OF MY WAY OR I MIGHT MISTAKE YOU AS AN ENEMY. " izzy says but then john places a hand on my head and I instantly relax. "john?" I ask and he nods looking at me. he looks confused at first but then smiles. "relax Mackenzie anyone who gets in your way will have to deal with us ok me and Jacob got your back" he says and Jacob walks up next to him and I look at them. I'm so thankfull that they are here but then again I'm worried that they will get hurt because of me. they look at me as I growl at Alpha Glen as he growls at me. "Mackenzie i'm the alpha of this pack and you better show me respect." he growls. I growl back at him back and shift back completely naked. "i don't give a rats ass if your alpha of this pack. I'm not part of your pack and you know you have no power over me your Alpha tone doesn't work on me." I say with a growl my long red hair spikes out at the end to show how menacing I am right now and makes him stop and gulp. "yes ma'am" he says and then leaves to take care of his pack. I turn to John who hands me his shirt I slide it on and look at him. "Mackenzie I don't care if your human or werewolf just promise me that once this fight is done we can still travel together" he says softly pulling me towards him for a hug. "of coarse I wouldn't want it any other way. me and my guys." I say happily as I hug him back but then I hear the warning howl. I signal them to get ready and follow me. once we are outside we see wolves fighting everywhere. one comes and jumps at us snarling. john shoots it in the face and I shift. Jacob goes to the roof of the pack house and starts shooting down wolves left and right. we shoot the one coming out of the trees. Alpha glen and his pack surround the entrance of the house. I run out and tackle Dereks wolf to the ground and stand over him snarling. he shifts and smirks at me. "Mackenzie, you should come back to us my dear your to be luna of my pack." I growl at him but he grabs my throat. "you should learn your place mutt. I created you into your new form. It was easy too. it will be just as easy to kill you as well my......" he stops as a gun shot goes off and everyone stops. I bite his throat and kill him. I shift back and someone hands me a shirt. "You never created me I was already part wolf you only helped me bring my wolf out you bastard" I growl. I turn to see Jacob on his knees next to john who is on the ground with a gun in his hand as he pants in pain. I run to his side and see his leg was badly bitten. Then my wolf growls out in anger as she senses something I turn to see the doctor who injected me with whatever it was that gave me my wolf walking towards me. "I can help him" he says. he takes out two needles with the same liquid. "its the same thing I gave you but its his decision" he says finally. john looks at his brother and then at me we all nod and say do it. The man injects both john and Jacob. Soon they pass out and are carried inside.
