~ Ellie ~
"You did WHAT?!" I shrieked at my over-sized best friend.
"He called me stupid and his hand was right there so I just bit him..." he trailed off with a chuckle. I mentally face-palmed as I tried to hold back my laughter.
"Wyatt, it's not funny. You promised, no more trouble. I can't keep bailing you out like this. You're extremely lucky that the principal likes me. Otherwise, you'd be screwed." I lectured him, still trying really hard not to laugh.
Me and my oaf of a best friend were currently walking back from the principal's office. Apparently, he fell asleep in class and then got in an argument with his english teacher about it. Then the teacher got mad at him and called him stupid so Wyatt, being Wyatt, had to go and bite the freaking teacher... Moron.
"Come on, El. You know you would've done the same." he looked down at me from his height of 6 foot 3. I stopped walking and my eyes widened.
"No, I wouldn't!" I assured him, finally cracking a smile at the whole situation. His eyebrows knitted together in confusion.
"Why not?" he asked.
"Hmm... I don't know, maybe because I DON'T TYPICALLY BITE TEACHERS!" I exclaimed at him. That's it I couldn't hold it back anymore, I burst into a fit of laughter and soon he joined in. It was almost ten minutes before we stopped because I just couldn't stop imagining the look on Mr. Simmons' face. Eventually the laughter died down and we were at the door of my classroom.
"You have to admit, it was pretty funny." he prompted. I just rolled my eyes.
"Shut up and get to class, pea brain." I said as I started pushing him towards his class which happened to be across the hall.
"Hey! Do I have to bite you too? Because I will do it. I don't care who you are, it will happen." he threatened in mock seriousness.
"Yeah, that's evident. Now, go." I gave him one last push.
"Okay, I'm going. Jeez, violent much?" he asked as he walked into his class. I turned on my heel and walked into my classroom with a chuckle. I slipped in and quickly took my seat at the back of the room.
Okay, so maybe I'm the weird girl at the back of the class that nobody really knows or talks to. Basically, people either ignore me or verbally abuse me. It's pretty much a 50/50 chance. I never really know what I'm going to get from people.
Oh, well. At least I'm not some bimbo who has to step on people to be popular. I mean, it hurts when they say those awful things but I don't wanna hurt anyone. Whoever came up with, 'sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me' was a big fat liar. But I have my books and my guys. Oh yes, I don't just have one overly-muscly idiot... I have four. Wyatt, Mason, Ben and Toby. Don't get me wrong, they're great. I love them with everything I have but sometimes it'd be nice to have a girl friend for once, you know? Someone I can relate to. But all the girls at Everly High hate me with a passion... that's a story for another day. I've dealt with worse though... oh, look. Another story for another day.
I was brought out of my thoughts when someone snapped in my face.
"Hello. Earth to Ellie. Why did the office call you?" asked Mason who was sitting in the desk next to mine.
"Wyatt. I'll explain at lunch." I chuckled at the memory. With that, the bell rang signalling our next class.
