annie wilkinson was homeschooled, until voldemort and the death eaters took over the ministry and ordered all school ages witches and wizards to attend hogwarts.
annie, who was brought up in the vast english country and loves the sun and flowers and the outdoors, finds the prospect of attending the school terrifying - especially being confined within the cold castle walls and kept separate from the outdoors. until she meets a ray of sunshine within the castle itself - luna lovegood.
