Two days. Two days and I will start uni at the University of London. I didn't want to go to uni, but I thought it would best because I want to become a dentist. But, God, uni is going to be boring. No hot chicks. Set ground rules.

BORING.

BORING.

BORING.

I am really going to hate that place as soon as I set foot on that stupid building. Even me and my friend, Liam, are actually thinking of setting fire to the building. He's going to UCL too. Which is a relief to me. I don't want to be stuck as a loner, even though I will have beggy boys and chicks trailing after me. I'm known as the popular one. The rebel. Even since I was in Nursery, all the way up to now. It's not really my fault. It's just part of me.

I walked downstairs into the kitchen to make breakfast. My pa was on the couch fast asleep with a bottle of wine in his hands. Drinking. Again. He's been an alcoholic since my step-ma left us. I don't blame her. He was never at home, and when he was, he would always order her to do something or he'd either go to bed. To be honest, even I don't want to live with pa. All the memories flooded back to me, from the day pa left the house with ma with me. Realising that we didn't really have any food or drink, apart from alcohol, I grabbed some money from the counter to buy myself breakfast and lunch. After quickly got changed and went out the door. Fresh air hit me right in the face. Wow. That house must have smelt really bad. Phwoar.

*RingRingRing*

I rummaged through my pockets and found my phone. I looked at the caller ID. Liam Payne. Thank you Liam for calling me. I am literally dying of boredom.

"Yo, dude. Wassup?"

"Nothing much. Just chilling at MaccyD's."

"I'll go over there. I need some brekkie too."

"Okay then."

"See ya later."

Thank God Liam called. After eating breakfast, I didn' really know what to do so I just stayed there. I didn't really want to go back to that revolting mess of a house. Not yet. I looked outside of the window and saw my reflection. Bruises and cuts were scattered around my face. No wonder the cashiere stared at my face, constantly. I was shocked at the amount of bruises that I had on my face. Suddenly, Liam appeared out of the blue with two McFlurrys.

"Dude. What happened to your face?"

"Errrrrrr, I had a fight with a neighbourhood cat."

Liam didn't say anything after that, but just kept on staring at me. He might not believe me, but I didn't really want to tell him about what actually happened to my face. I wasn't ready. Or I just didn't really want to tell him. I don't really trust anybody anymore, not even my own best friend. I felt kinda bad for not telling all of my secrets, seen as he tells me everything about his life. Including his current girlfriend.

"So, what happened to your girlfriend?"

"We broke up. Turns out she was actually cheating on me."

"Sorry to hear that, mate."

"Yea, never mind. But, I'm actually looking for a girl with blonde hair and green eyes."

"So, you actually have an actual type of appearance for your dream girl?"

I actually laughed at that. Nobody that I know of actually talks about the appearance in their dream girl in that way. Make that, nobody in the whole world does that. Typical Liam. Even though he is actually maturer that me, he may sometimes be an utter retard.

"Yea, it's like my dream appreance for my girl. She has to look hot too."

"Well naaaaaaah."

After our little convo, he had to leave because his ma had told to come home. I still wasn't ready to go back "home". But, finally, after two hours of looking around the shops, I picked up my courage and left to go back to pa. After all, I really needed to sort out my face and the house.
