Nico took a deep breath and gathered his courage. It's not that hard, He told himself. Just go and kiss him, ask him out and get married. Simple.

He surged ahead to where Will was standing, gazing at the sunset from a cliff. "Hey, Will!" Nico called. As Will turned around, Nico grabbed his face and kissed him full on the lips with no warning. Not the best move, but it was all he could think of.

Will made a strangled noise, but eventually returned the kiss. When Nico pulled away, he asked, "Solace, will you go out with me?"

Will looked startled, but he nodded wordlessly.  "I..." he squeaked. "Sure. I'll go out with you."

Nico's heart did a cartwheel. "You will?" it came out sounding more pathetic and desperate than he thought.

"Sure. I've actually had a crush on you for a while now," Will admitted shyly, making that attractive  half-smile that drove Nico to insanity. Nico restrained himself from screaming that he loved Will with an obsession with the intensity of a billion crushes and the heat of the sun. He muttered something stupid, and Will laughed. "So... is tomorrow at six good with you? The clearing in the forest with that tree shaped like a butt?" Will inquired. Nico nodded, his mouth hanging open slightly.

"See you tomorrow, then," Nico whispered as Will slowly walked away.

Suddenly, a black-haired figure popped up from behind the bushes near Will. "NO, WAIT, DON'T LEAVE! GO KISS HIM FIRST!"

Will screamed and tripped backwards as another figure fell from the sky and cheered, "YES! YOU'RE MY OTP, NOW GO KISS! PLEASE!"

And Percy and Jason disappeared into the bushes in a fit of giggles. Will gave Nico an embarrassed glance and ran away. Nico couldn't help but think how cute his running style was.

As Nico strode into the distance, he could hear the faint squeals of excitement from Jason as Percy tried to calm him down, saying that "Solangelo wasn't canon yet."

"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN, JACKSON, MY OTP--THEY'RE GOING--ON A DATE--SOON--IT'LL BE A WEDDING AND OH GODS THIS IS TOO MUCH I CAN'T BREATHE WHAT IS AIR."
