"Piper, move over! I can't see!"
"Shut up, I can't hear them!"
"If they kiss and start dating you owe me twenty bucks."
"I know, Jason. Now shut it!"
"I'd be surprised if they haven't heard us by now."
"Probably have."
"Once Will and Nico start dating, we'll both have archer boyfriends."
Percy, Piper, Jason, Leo, Frank, Annabeth and Hazel were all crouched behind a cluster of trees and bushes, camouflage paint smeared on their faces. Percy and Jason had binoculars pressed to their faces like their lives depended on it.
About a hundred feet away, Will and Nico sat on a rickety wooden bench, their hands laced together. Will had confessed his love for him a minute ago. Nico had said the feeling was mutual. Were they boyfriends now? Nico didn't know. But there was a giddy feeling in the pit of his stomach, like tiny skeleton warriors were doing a war dance inside of him. He knew that the others were spying on them from afar, judging by the occasional whispers and giggles.
Apparently, stealth was not Percy's middle name. He shouted, "Just kiss and caress each other already!"
Will blushed and fell of the bench. Nico helped him up. Will rubbed a scratch on his neck and turned in Percy's direction and said, "Watch me." He grabbed Nico's shoulders and pulled him closer. Nico put his lips against Will's, a warm and fuzzy feeling spreading from his fingertips to his feet. He was kissing Will. For the second time in a week, he was kissing Will Solace. Nico wrapped his scrawny arms around Will's strong body, wanting that moment to never end.
Jason let out a shrill "WOOHOO!" and popped out behind from a bush. "Leo, you owe me twenty fucking dollars!"
"Jason, shut up, they can hear you," Leo hissed.
"I DON'T GIVE AN F. THE SOLANGELO SHIP HAS SET SAIL, MOTHERFUCKERS!"
