The Day We Met for the first time was not romantic by a long shot.

Hiro had brought me to introduce me to his friends.

The last thing I expected was a blonde boy slurping pork noodles to tell me I looked like a pork woman.

I wasted no time in telling the said boy that I wasn't the one inhaling and snorting down pork noodles.

He retorted by saying my shirt distinctly said,
Lover of all Foods.

I definitely didn't like him.

The Day We Met at the museum, I never expected the blonde boy to be part of the notorious Black Foxes.

He seemed anti social, who knew he stole things on a regular basis?

After I called him blondie for umpteenth time he finally snapped his golden eyes to mine.

"My name is Takuto. Not Blondie. Freaking women." He had shook his head.

"Yeah? Well my name isn't pork woman or freaking woman. It's Akemi. Use it right Takuto." I had said sarcastically.

He had scowled that scowl I would see so many more times.

The Day We Met at your work place will always be a fond memory.

I had finally completed my collage courses and entered the work firm I was most interested in.

I never expected to find the pork inhaler, Shiffey lover, and Blondie there.

Fortunately for me, he was the one chosen to show me around.

He tried to act irritated. Key word. Tried. Yet, for a reason I will never understand, his golden eyes twinkled with mirth and a small smile was on his face. He had an adorable dimple that oddly suited him.

By the end of the tour. I felt my cheeks dimple with an identical smile.

The Day We Met before I left behind the Black Foxes along with my old life was absolutely unforgettable.

You refused to look at me the entire day. As others bid their farewells and good wishes all I could think was, "why is he avoiding me?'' Once upon a time I wouldn't have given two holy piles of shit.

Yet, the constant days we spent together working and laughing at LRN had burned into the back of my mind.

I had swatted away the memories as quickly as they came. I was offered a higher paying job. These sacrifices would be worth it.

I remember thinking you wouldn't even say goodbye to me.

Yet, you surprised me once again. I found you at the airport standing awkwardly waiting for me.

"I'll wait for you pork woman. So don't keep me waiting." Do you remember saying that? How could I forget? You had an adorable little blush on your face and you averted your eyes shyly.

I remember watching you leave quickly. And slowly but surely smiling.

The Day We Met 3 years after I moved I was surprised when you hugged me.

You didn't like physical contact with friends.

If that didn't surprise me than I was in hella shocked when you asked me out.

The Day We Met on our first date, I was afraid you would dump me for a more classy girl. Plenty tried getting your attention. But you merely looked at them with distaste. As if they had taken the last bowl of pork noodles.

When you walked me to the park and sat down on a bench I was confused. Why didn't you want to go to a pork noodle buffet or something?

When I asked you, I remember your cheeks turning dark red and saying,"this is our first date. I know you like this romantic crap so I thought I'd try it out." You had muttered in embarrassment.

I had felt my insides warm with happiness. You probably won't ever know how your words affected me. Even if it was short but sweet...it made me fall even more in love with the boy you tried to hide.

I remember kissing you for the first time under the glimmering stars that looked dim compared to your bright orbs.

The Day We Met on our 2 year anniversary I remember your gentle expression.

I remember wondering if this was a dream. There was no way I deserved this.

Seeing your loved filled eyes was what I looked forward to each and every single day.

That didn't change when you knelt down with a black box and beautiful ring and asked me the question every girl dreamed about.

When I saw your eyes light up with excitement I felt my heart swell. When you twirled me around in such an uncharacteristic way I couldn't help but laugh aloud.

The Day We Met on our wedding day I couldn't believe how lucky I was.

We didn't have a public wedding. It felt like people would invade on a moment that was ours alone.

You had looked at me with happiness I knew my eyes reflected.

No, it wasn't the wedding I dreamed about as a little girl. No crowds or huge cake. Yet, it felt completely perfect.

The way your eyes seemed to capture mine in just a glance amazed me.

The only thing that topped the sheer happiness I got only from his golden eyes was his soft lips on mine.

Who knew the feeling of completion was real.

I finally knew I had found my soul mate.
