The first thing the Bork thought Jonathan should know about was the advancements in technology. So she showed him a flashlight.
"These days, no one needs to light stuff on fire. We got flashlights, or torches as the British call them." The Bork brought out a flashlight. When she turned it on and a beam of light shined through the room place Jonathan fliped the floop out.
"What is this sorcery!?" The Jonathan questioned.
"I could explain, but that's boring." The Bork handed the Jonathan the flashlight and went over to the TV that was in the room. They're probably in a living room. Anyways, the Bork turned on the TV. "This is called a television because reasons. People usually call it a TV 'cause we're all lazy and fat."
Jonathan wasn't understanding any of what the flork was going on, but figured it was better to not question anything. So he just cried inside and pretended to understand the broken English of today.
The Bork Bork of Ultra Chork then told the Jonathan, "You probably will be confused for 9 thousand years, 2 days, and half a second."
This confused him even more, "People now live for thousands of years?" he questioned.
"Ha, nah son." Came Bork's gorby reply.
"I'm not your son-"
"You is now."
And then Bork legally adopted Jonathan somehow.
