We walked into the room and sat down into to of the chairs.

"Do you all have any idea who you are, or why you are here?" The guy with red hair asked.

"No..." I said stupidly. Tucker looked at me and shook his head.

"We know who we are obviously." Tucker started. "Im Tucker, and he's Tom," He said pointing at me. I started to smile. Even in the weirdest situations Tucker could still be so smart aleck.

"Close." The man with white hair said.

"Tucker, your are the son of Jericho, also known as Guardian Alister. Your mothers name was Gea. Any questions?" Tucker sat there stunned.

"You're also my grandson." The man with the white hair said with out any emotion on his face. "My name is Mianite" He said sticking out his hand. If Tucker could look any more shocked, he did, but he shook the god's hand.

"And you Tom!" The man with red hair started. He looked at me and started to smile. "You are the son of Syndicate, also known as Guardian Ignis, your mother was Nina. And i'm your grandfather, my name is Dianite." He said with a smile, putting out his hand to shake mine. I smiled and shook his hand. My gradfather being an all powerful god? Could be weirder, he could be an all powerful fish named Nemo that I could serve like a slave.

"We have a proposal for both of you." Mianite started, looking at us. "Deviser and Nadeshot, our guardians, want students so they can enter them in the tournament." Mianite said looking at us. "They want to train two people who have a running  chance at winning. What do you all say?" Tucker and I looked at each other. We both wished since we where boys to be in Mianite's and Dianite's armies. This could be are chance to meet some cute babes, not the pig but a fine looking woman. I started nodding my head, thinking about all the perks that could come with the job.

"We would love to be trained by them." I said once I finally stopped picturing all the perks.

"Well great then!" Dianite said getting up. "Mianite, why dont you go take Tucker and show him around the mansion?" Dianite asked Mianite. Mianite looked at him a nodded. With that Mianite and Tucker got up a left the room.

"Alright then, lets change up the scenery." Dianite said. Then he snapped his fingers and the walls melted away to reveal a blood red wall with a fire place where the windows used to be. Some kind of red-haired animal's pelt was on the floor as a rug, and dark brown wood floor. When I looked back at Dianite I saw that he changed. He was now in his late twenties with scars all over his face, he had black armor with red streaks in it( It almost looked like lava running down a volcano.). And weirdest of all, his skin was a deep red color. I guess he saw my confused look on my face, because he laughed.

"As a god I can change my form into what ever I want. This is the form I usually take." Dianite explained.

"Ok then, that's cool." I said looking around. I wonder if I could do that, if I could that would be pretty dang awesome. I would just turn into Tucker and go parading around town like a lunatic.

"Now then lets talk about how you got this." He said bringing out The Judgement. "You want to tell me how you got this?" Dianite asked.

"I got it during one of my fights." I started to explain. "I was the hardest fight I've ever been in. It was one of the first weeks I was there. Ty, our boss, put me up against the best gladiator in the colosseum. He was about to kill me when he told me that after he killed me, he was going to kill Tucker." I said clinching my fists. "I knew I couldn't let him so I reached for my ax, but it disappeared and was replaced by The Judgement. I then defeated him, and I took the title as number one gladiator." I finished.
"So that's it huh?" Dianite said looking off into the distance.
"What's what Dianite?" I asked. He looked back at me and smiled.
"Nothing, don't worry about it. Now then let's get down to more pressing issues. Do you know how the colosseum caught on fire?" He asked looking at me.
"No, did you set in on fire?" I asked.
"No I didn't, I was just asking." He said shrugging.
"If you are going to start training with Nadeshot, you need to read this." He said giving me a book. "You do know how to read right?" Dianite said smiling.
"Yes, I know how to read." I said smiling and taking the book. It was called A Soldiers Guide To Monsters, Military, And The Gods.
"Read that and memorize it. You'll need to know all that information to pass the tournament." Dianite said getting up. "Nadeshot!" Dianite said yelling.
"Sir!" Nadeshot said, coming out of a shadow. Weird, people going through shadows are weird.
"What? How did you do that?!" I said pointing at him.
"Do what?" Nadeshot said looking at me strangely. "Shadow hopping?" He asked.
"Yes! I want to learn how to do that!" I said excitedly.
"Well to bad! It takes months of practice to learn how to shadow hop, and even more to control where you are going!" Nadeshot said walking forward and getting in my face.
"That's enough Nadeshot." Dianite said with a smile. Nadeshot snorted and backed off.
"So then?... When does training start?" I asked happily.

"Like I would actually train you." Nadeshot said turning away to face Dianite. "Any ways my lord, we need to focus most of our forces..." He just kept talking, he was ignoring me! I started to get a goofy smile on my face. I wonder how fast this guy is? And if he is even worthy of teaching me? I slowly got up and called for my ax. The ax suddenly appeared next to me. Then I quickly got up and ran at Nadeshot. Nadeshot stopped just in time to block my attack from The Judgement.

"So...the kid has guts, well then, I guess I can give you a chance. Besides you are my master's grandkid, so I guess you have potential." Nadeshot said

"Well then, lets go kid." Nadeshot said turning and walking out of the room. I looked at Dianite and he nodded in the direction of Nadeshot. And with that, I ran after Nadeshot.
