Life Saver
By: R.E.D.I cursed myself,
I said I wanted to die.
I cut before,
Wrote a letter to say goodbye.I thought you didn't know the pain I felt that day,
'Cause you live your life as bright as sunshine's ray.
And then you suddenly walked in my way,
Told me everything will be okay.I was shocked,
That you know how I feel.
I asked myself,
"Is this even real?"You saved my life,
And I felt my depression slipping away.
We became close to each other,
To you, who made the pain go away. And now I'm writing this poem,
As a tribute for you.
As a thank-you letter,
For making me close to you.In your arms I feel safe,
Safe from the monsters in my mind.
Safe from the pain,
That is still here deep inside. You are my life saver,
The one who pulled me out of the pit.
From where I used to fall,
To you, I can never feel a guilt.

PoetryWe all have our own ways to saying or showing what we trully feel. Let's just say I show and tell my feelings through a poem. Feel free to read my works (all originals by me only) about love, hop, expectations, and heartbreaks.
