Rachael's POV:
My name is Rachael and I am 19 years old. I live with my mom in Ocean City, Maryland. All my life I have lived with my mother, even though we have just recently moved down here. I admit I miss my friends, I mean come on I grew up with them and spent my whole school life with them. Anyway mom said we had to move because of "family issues" and by that I mean my biological father found out where we lived so we needed to leave ASAP. Well Ocean City is beautiful, but not as beautiful as New York City. ( My Hometown.) The beaches here are really clean and if you sit on the boardwalk at night, the sunset is beautiful and amazing. Last night I sat with my mom for the first time since we got here four days ago and saw the most shocking shades of pink, orange and purples fill the sky as if saying " Goodnight good people I will be leaving so enjoy these beautiful colors I have to show you." I have a good feeling that my life here in Ocean City will be much less hectic then it was before.
I stood up and took my mom's hands into my own and we walked down the boardwalk shopping our hearts out like we used to. My mom is the best mom anyone could ever ask for, She is pretty to. She stands at 5'3, has dark brown hair and bright blue eyes that are so blue the water in the Caribbean is jealous. My mom just happens to like fashion as well so I let her pick out clothes I should buy. I swear if you ever need a fashion consultant just tell me and I'll send my mom over there.
I recently got a job at the most amazing place on earth, Dairy Queen. The best parts are: I get free ice-cream, its down the street from out house and it is right next to Denny's. When I realized this I took a picture of the Denny sign and sent it to my friend Kierra because we just so happen to watch YouTube comedians and we saw a video called ( Charlie Teh Unicron ) it was really funny and it brought something up about Denny's. Our inside joke as we like to call it.
As soon as my mom finished shopping we decided it was time to head home because A. we were tired, and B. it got really dark outside. We pulled up into our driveway about 10 minutes after we pulled out of the parking lot for the boardwalk. Our house is, I guess pretty big. My house is Brown and tan. it has 4 floors, not including the attic or the basement, it has a garage that isn't attached but could fit 3 cars. there are a total of 2 living rooms 6 bathrooms and 9 bedrooms, a gaming room, a library and an indoor pool which is located in our basement. I got all the bags out of the car and separated before mom could even walk inside. I carried my stuff up to my room then came back for my moms things. Our rooms are huge! My room is the second biggest in the house. I painted it black with turquoise trim along the ceiling, above the floor and around the windows. I have a huge window in my room because it faces the front of the house. It is extended a little beyond my wall and is curved into a semi-circle formation. I have a black couch under the semi-circle window and a dresser along the wall next to it. By my door I have my bed against the center of the wall with a night table on both sides. Across from my bed is a giant Flatsecreen T.V and next to that is my walk in closet. On the other wall is my attached bathroom with is turquoise with black trim. I have a giant bath tub, a toilet and a double sink along with a shower and changing corner. In my closet I have a electronic clothing rack so it picks my outfits out and lays them on my sofa inside the closet. I have hundreds of outfits and just as many shoes in my closet along with my makeup, and jewelry. My. moms room is the same as mine except a little less modern and different colors.
