So a few hours later we are at the airport. I sit there in the back seat, not moving a muscle.

"Carter, come on." My mother said, opening my door. "Your Uncle is flying there with you." Hesitantly, I get out. I help them with my bags, as we start walking into the airport.

"Who is my uncle anyways?" I ask, handing the people my bags to check them.

"He is-" My mother said, before she is interrupted by a British voice coming near us.

"Susan!" The voice calls out, hugging my mother. After they release from the hug, the man told to be my "Uncle" goes near my father.

"Ah, yes. I couldn't forget you! How have you been, Henry?" The voice asks while shaking my fathers hand.

"Good. Good." He mumbles. "This, is my daughter, also your niece, Carter." He says pointing to me. Once British guy looks at me, I plaster on a fake smile.

"Ah, yes, Carter." British guy says. "You look absolutely gorgeous. And you've grown so much!"

"We've met before?" I ask, walking towards the security check.

"Well, I have met you. You wouldn't remember. I met you when you were born." British guy said, as we stood in the line for security check. My parents are following us, outside of the roped off line.

"Oh, okay then. And you are-?" I ask, moving up in the line.

"Oh, yes. My name is Simon Cowell. I am your mother's older brother." Simon says.

"Half, brother." My mother corrects. Simon just looks at her.

"Yes, half brother." Simon says. "Well, we should get going now. We will have plenty of time to talk on the way to London."

"Joy..." I mumble under my breath, no one hearing me.

Half an hour later we are on the plane, taking off. I kept my bag with me, so I could text Logan and listen to my music. Sure enough my Uncle was right, we could talk on the plane. Nobody was near us, it was just us two. The only people close to us were 3 rows back. It was like he was famous or something. I was staring out of the window, before he interrupted my deep thoughts, on what I will do to my parents for making me do this. Just prank after prank was what I was thinking.

"Carter?" Uncle Simon said, interrupting my thoughts. I turn to him.

"Yeah?"

"I know you don't want to be here, so, lets just try to make this fun. I am a very fun person, so think of this like more of a vacation, then a punishment." he says, looking at me. I sigh, giving up knowing that I will be stuck with him.

"Okay," I muster out. "But tell me, why is nobody sitting by us?" He just looks at me, no emotion on his face.

"Really you don't know?" He asks, looking at me.

"No, I don't"

"Oh, well I am famous my dear. I give many people singing careers for a life time. My most popular group that I have put together is One Direction. Have you heard of them?"

"You mean the bubble gum pop dudes who are way to obsessed with their hair?" I ask, not believing him. He just nods and he smiles at me. I bust out laughing.

"No way." I smirk, holding in more laughter. "You put them together?"

"Yes, I did. And from what you just said I understand that you don't like them?" He asks.

"No, I don't like them." I say, pulling up my bag so I can get out my phone to text Logan this.

"Why?" He asks, looking at me. I then realize that he is taking this seriously.

"Well, for one, I don't like that type of music. And two, they are just way too over publicized and way too clean cut." I say, looking for my phone. He just grins at me.

"Clean cut?" He asks, smirking at me. I just nod really slowly. "Well, you are in for another thing then, Miss Carter." I immediately stop and look at him, like he was crazy.

"What?" I ask, slowly. He just grins at me.

"Well, you didn't just think that it would be us two, would you? I need some sanity in my life."

"And they will make you sane?" I ask, looking at him in disbelief. He has to be joking.

"Well- I just need some other guys around. And also," He says, taking out his phone. "I already told them that you were coming, and they were ecstatic. I even showed them a picture of you."

"Why would you do that?" I ask, bewildered. "I don't want to meet these dancing monkeys!" He just laughs at this.

"Trust me, they couldn't dance to save their lives." He grins.

"You tricked me." I say, narrowing my eyes at him. He just grins back even more. I then grin at him too.

"I knew I had to get it from some one." I say, grinning at him.

"Guilty."

"So, If I have to meet these guys, you have to buy me food for putting me through this kind of torture."

"Fine by me. I am also hungry. Would you like some crisps?" He asks.

"What are crisps?" I ask, staring at him like he just asked if I had a pet elephant.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot that your mother raised you as an American, not like she was raised. Crisps are chips to you." He explains.

"Wait, raising me as an American? I am an American." I say, staring at him.

"You didn't know? Your mother is British also." He explains. My mouth drops open, to form a perfect O.

"No, I didn't know."

"Oh, well it doesn't matter anyways. And here," He says, handing me a bag of chips. "Here you go." I eat my chips in silence, for the rest of the way there. We both don't say another word, until we land.

"Carter, here are your bags." My Uncle says handing me my two camouflaged bags. "Lets go to my house. I have a surprise for you there." I stop dead in my tracks, and I turn towards him.

"Am I meeting the Hair Dudes today?" I ask, staring at him in disbelief. He nods, and just grabs my arm so I start walking again.

"Yes, my dear." He says while putting our things into the back seat of a cab. "Now, get in." I hesitantly get in, knowing that I have to meet the Hair Dudes in less than an hour. The car ride is silent, as we pull up into his driveway. His house is completely massive, like a mansion, except smaller. He helps me get my bags out of the trunk, and he pays the taxi driver. We walk up to his front door, and before he can even put the key into the door handle, we hear a loud crash from inside. He then slowly turns the handle open, as I wait there, patiently, knowing my life is just being turned upside down over and over again.
