Fred comes back into the common room and I look over my shoulder to see him grinning like a dork. I raise my eyebrows slightly and put a finger up to my lips, quickly glancing back and George. Fred comes over and pulls out the butterbeer and chocolate. He sits down next to me and looks at George. He looks like he's trying not to burst out laughing and I smirk. I take some chocolate and he looks into the fire place, sniggering quietly. George moans quietly and Fred bursts out laughing. I giggle a little bit and George opens his eyes.
"Morning," I smile and George blinks, confused.

"The fuck? How long have I been out?" He asks and I look at him, smiling still.
"About fifteen minutes, baby," I reply and Fred laughs more.
"What?" George asks, sniggering as he sits up.
"What were you dreaming about, eh?" Fred replies and George blushes a little.
"Nothing interesting," He says and he glances at me. I raise my eyebrows and Fred sniggers.
"Oh, sure," He says, extending the word 'sure'. George looks at me and I smile at him.
"What did I do?" He asks me and I try to stop myself from giggling.

"You moaned, hun." I reply and George blushes more. "What were you dreaming about, hmm?" George glances at Fred before looking away.
"Nothing interesting, I said." He mutters and I smile. Fred shrugs and laughs again, gently punching George's arm. Fred give him a butterbeer and he passes me one too. He smiles at me gently and I smile back slightly. George stretches slightly and opens the bottle, taking a swig and sighing happily. I turn to Fred suddenly and he looks at me.
"What?" Fred asks, the smile still playing on his lips slightly.
"Why were you so entertained when you came back in?" I ask and Fred tries not to laugh again. He looks at me and George before he speaks.
"Well... I was walking back from the kitchens and I decided to take a detour," Fred starts and I raise my eyebrows. "And as I was walking past a transfiguration class I saw that someone had transfigured a parrot into a fucking sheep. Professor McGonagall was trying not to laugh so hard and I honestly... Oh my good god." He starts laughing and so does George. I sit there chuckling quietly, sipping my butterbeer.
My mind starts to wonder to last summer. The graveyard. Voldemort. Cedric.
Cedric.
Cedric.
Cedric.
Dead.
My scar starts to tingle and I rub it softly. George gently pulls me into him and gently kisses the top of my head. It doesn't distract me enough and I still think of last summer. Cedric's whole life, everything he had ever worked for, everything he was ever going to do, his strength, his personality, his whole life, gone. Gone in a few seconds and a flash of green light. Taken from him by a rat. A rat that had been my parents' friend. One of their closest.
He didn't deserve that. He deserved the whole world. He deserved to live until he was an old man, a great man, who had done all the great things he could do for the world. But it was taken from him before his life truly begun.
The boys are talking but I don't hear them. I stare into the fireplace, silent, thinking. George gently kisses my head again and I snap out of the trance I was in.
"Baby, are you okay?" He asks softly and I blink. I look around and then look in his face.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I'm sorry, I was just thinking." I reply, the picture of Cedric's corpse burning into my mind.
"What are you thinking about?" Fred asks worriedly and I sigh. I look up at him sadly and then shake my head.
"The unfairness of it all," I almost whisper and he takes my hand. I shake my head again and smile. "Ignore me, ignore me. Distract me!"
As I say that, the bell rings again, signalling the end of the school day. I look around and realise that I haven't seen Star since I left the common room.
"Star?" I say, getting up and walking over to my battered looking school bag. I hear soft breathing and the twins get up to help me look. George gasps in pain and I turn to him.
"Bloody Star scratched me with her long ass nails," he says, clutching his hand. Star crawls out from underneath a bookcase and runs over into my arms.  I shake my head, giving her a small smile and a kiss. I go over to George and sit down on the floor next to him.
"Star, apologise to Georgie," I say, the humour in my voice obvious. George pouts exaggeratedly and Star crawls into his lap and snuggles into him. I smile and take care of his hand as they cuddle.
Once I'm done, I take my bag into my dormitory. Just as I put it down, a searing pain shoots through my head, coming from my scar, and I cry out. The pain is so intense I feel myself grow lightheaded and weak.
I think I'm falling, but the pain is all I can truly concentrate on. I hear a crash and I feel myself fall against the floor, but before I can register the fact that I've actually fallen, I go unconscious.
